Back in 2017, ABC aired Time After Time, a show based on H.G. Wells’ book The Time Machine and named after the 1979 movie. The series aired just five episodes before they sent it into the future. That day is today and the location is CW Seed. The translation is you can finally watch all the episodes there.
Time After Time is the story of Jack the Ripper stealing Wells’ time machine and using it to travel to the future. Wells follows him in the hopes of catching him and bringing him back to the 19th century. It proves harder than he thought because the future, or the year 2017, is much different than the time he knows. How will this cat and mouse game end? You just have to watch to find out.
I watched the show when it aired and I loved what I saw. Finally, I get to see what happens next on the Kevin Williamson series. I am sure you will enjoy it too.
BTW if you are not familiar with CW Seed you are missing the app that has some of the best series of the last decade that were cancelled too soon. Shows like Alcatraz, Constantine, Everwood, Secret Circle and so many more including the original Dynasty. Why not watch it during your snow days or even the ones that are beautiful.
The CW did their annual early pick ups and they picked up everything that is not ending this season or All American. In other words, Arrow, Black Lightning, Charmed, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, Legacies, Riverdale, Supergirl and Supernatural and will all be back on the lineup next season.
Since I watch Dynasty, I am shocked and thrilled it will be back for more catfights. Talking about fights, Sam and Dean will be fighting demons for season 15. Can Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki still do that? I mean they have been doing the show for so long, aren’t they grandfathers using canes wearing medic alert bracelets by now? Which makes me feel old because I have been watching since the pilot. Don’t believe me. Here is what Misha Collins said about the news, “Season 15 is official. Time for hip replacements. #Supernatural”
Another show awaiting its fate is Roswell. Since it is only been on a few weeks, it makes sense that they did not pick it up with this batch. I just hope they renew it by May. I was not expecting to like it, but turns out I do.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eTk24tf_cyY Roswell, New Mexico debuts on The CW tonight at 9p and you are going to want to check out this remake. Now having said that last word, I will admit I never watched the original series. Therefore, I cannot compare the two. What I can tell you is that I am already hooked on the Sci-Fi drama after watching the first three episodes.
Roswell, New Mexico is famous place because some say a UFO crashed down on the small town in 1947. The legend still exists until this day, but did it happen? Only three people know the truth and they are the aliens that grew up in the town and assimilated with the townspeople.
Liz (Jeanine Mason) left there shortly after her sister died in a drunk driving accident that killed two other girls from the town. Since that day, everyone has hated her family. Therefore, it seems strange that she would return on the 10th anniversary of that accident.
As soon as she gets home, she goes to visit her dad at the dinner that he owns. She let’s him go home early and her childhood friend, who has feelings for her, shows up. As Max (Nathan Parsons) and Liz are talking, someone shoots up the dinner in revenge for that night. Liz has been shot and Max must do something extraordinary to save her life. By doing this he has exposed himself to her, but she does not know this because she was dead at the time it happened.
The two other aliens, who came to Earth with Max, are mad at him for exposing their secret. The three of them have done everything to hide their true identities and now Max might have ruined everything. Isobel (Lily Cowles) and Michael (Michael Vlamis) have very different ways on how they want to handle the situations. Whose way will win out? Or will Max’s way be the way that works out for all of them?
Even though the three of them have been good at concealing their identity, some of the people in the town will suspect that there are aliens living amongst them. Will they be able to figure out who they are? Especially since they are getting outside help?
I recently watched three episodes of a show and still have no idea what is going on. Roswell, New Mexico’s story is clear and interesting. You want to know what happens next because within minutes you find yourself invested in these characters and the story they have to tell.
If you are like me, then you have been waiting for like ever to find out how Michael is still alive on Jane the Virgin. Well, now we know when the final episodes will be back. The CW announced today that it will return on a new night, Wednesday, March 27th after Riverdale. Mark your calendars because you do not want to miss how Jane’s dead husband is not dead.
That is not all they told us, DC Legends of Tomorrow will move to 8p on Mondays starting on April 1st. Arrow returns two weeks later at 9p. Also during the first week of April, the new drama In the Dark makes its debut on the 4th.
On April 30th, The 100 returns at 9p. Then two days later iZombie begins its final season at 8p. I cannot wait to see what personalities they give Liv this season.

For the first time in a long time, The CW has ordered additional episodes from all of its new shows. That means that All American (the worst new drama for me), Legacies and Charmed will be around longer than they expected. For All American and Legacies, they will only be around for 3 more episodes while Charmed will be around for 9 more bringing their totals to 16 and 22 respectively. I am surprised that the former two got more episodes because their ratings have been lackluster.
That and they still have five more shows to air. They are Roswell, In the Dark, The 100 along with the final seasons of Jane the Virgin and iZombie. That is a lot of time with just 12 hours of programming.
