Jan Brady is Elyse Keaton
April 4th, 2017 under 70s, Stage, The Brady Bunch. [ Comments: none ]

I don’t know if you heard, but Family Ties is getting the stage musical treatment this Summer according to Broadway.com. The production will make its debut this June in Ohio, Dayton not Columbus like the ’80s sitcom, but having it in the same state is still pretty groovy.

Talking about groovy, what can make it even groovier? How about Eve Plumb, best known for playing Jan Brady on The Brady Bunch, is playing the matriarch Elyse Keaton. The role that was originated by Meredith Baxter. Proving everything in Hollywood is related, I think!

I wonder how Marcia, Marcia, Marcia feels about this, I am sure she is just as excited as we are.

Before Florence Henderson was driving a station wagon on The Brady Bunch, she was singing the praises of Oldsmobile. How beautiful was the 24 year old in that 1958 commercial?

Florence Henderson passed away yesterday at the age of 82 from heart failure according to the AP.
She is known around the world for playing the matriarch Carol Brady on The Brady Bunch, its spinoffs, TV movies and guest appearances as her character. The actress is in the late night books as the first woman to guest host The Tonight Show. In the new millennium, she also tried her hand in reality television on shows like The Surreal Life and Dancing with the Stars.
To me, she will be my second mom because I spent my youth, my teenage years and adulthood watching her on The Brady Bunch. Who didn’t want her to be their mom? Therefore, today remember her by watching The Brady Bunch
