Two years ago, there were rumors that Alyssa Milano and Tony Danza were working on a sequel to Who’s the Boss. But then, the gossip stopped.
Today, when the actress was on The View, Alyssa Farah Griffin (who revealed she is named after Milano) asked her for an update. And the update is that they submitted a script to FreeVee. If the streaming service likes it, then the series will be picked up.
So we are one step closer to seeing the Micellis together again.
Before Marilu Henner was taking people to the airport on Taxi, she was the one traveling with Samsonite. How gorgeous was the 24-year-old in that 1977 commercial?
Tony Danza was in Los Angeles last week performing at a Jazz club, and some of his old co-workers came to see him sing. They worked together at the Sunshine Cab Company over 40 years ago. That’s right; it was Judd Hirsch, Marilu Henner, and director James Burrows.
Seeing them look so happy together makes me wish they would give my favorite show a sequel because it is all about me. That and, if Night Court can get one, why can’t Taxi?
This wasn’t the only cast that Danza reunited with when he was out here. He also caught up with his Who’s the Boss family.
Tony Danza is in Hollywood singing at the Catalina Jazz Club, and some familiar faces stopped by to see him. They are his TV daughter, Alyssa Milano, stepson Danny Pintauro, and neighbor Rhoda Gemignani from Who’s the Boss.
Seeing them together makes me wish they could bring back Who’s the Boss with all of them, including Judith Light, and not what Danza and Milano are planning.
Just one year before Danny DeVito became Louie De Palma on TAXI he guest starred on an episode of Starsky & Hutch as John "John John the Apple" DeAppoliso, in "The Collector". Tune-in Saturday 2PM/1C on COZI TV! pic.twitter.com/RUxc1l5Phr
Before Danny DeVito was a dispatcher on Taxi, he was selling newspapers on Starsky & Hutch. He looks the same now as he did when he was 32 in that 1977 episode.
