Susan Sarandon was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host asked to recreate her infamous Selfie from Thelma & Louise with him. So she was given a scarf and he got a lot more like a wig and birthmark, and off to the green screen they went to recreate their moment. And you know what, they nailed it. Granted it helped that she hasn’t aged a day since the movie and he is a pretty convincing woman. So they had that going for them.

Back in 1991, Thelma & Louise took a Seflie that we haven’t forgotten about after all of these years. Today, Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis took another one and we won’t forget about it anytime soon. That’s because even though it has been nearly 25 years since they shot the buddy movie, they actually look better now than they did then. And they were looking pretty near perfect back then. I guess their secret to their youthful appearance is to be sleeping with younger men. I am OK with doing that to keep my young looks like them.

Well yesterday on the show Susan Sarandon opted for an awkward pause and let’s just Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Janet is an Oscar winner for a reason. Their moment was so awkward, I felt awkward for them and yet I sort of enjoyed it.

Her people told People, “Actress Susan Sarandon and her partner of 23 years, actor Tim Robbins have announced that they separated over the summer. No further comments will be made.” Boy it goes to show you how much their A-List status has dropped because they broke up over the summer and we are first learning about it now. I wonder what caused them to split? Wouldn’t it be funny if it had something to do with politics since that is what this couple was most know for…their political statements.

BTW I never realized until today, she is 12 years older than him. I always thought they were the same age. I wonder if that is saying he is ageing badly or she is ageing beautifully?
