Can you believe it has been 40 years since The Rocky Horror Picture Show came out? Well it has been and 6 of the cast members from the movie got together to do an interview with Today. They are Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf and Patricia Quinn.
Sadly, Today f*cked it up by editing their reunion as a package instead of doing a live Q&A with them. Even though we didn’t hear much from the legends, we did learn how Curry came up with the character he created for Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Sarandon talked about getting pneumonia while filming the movie.
Sadly, we didn’t hear enough from the actors, but it was great to see them all together again. What was even better was seeing how great Tim Curry is looking after his stroke. Can I tell you, I read that he lives in my little town. It is going to take all of my will power not to kidnap my niece and go trick or treating in my neighborhood to find out where he lives. Shhh, don’t tell. I just have been a fan of his ever since I saw him in Annie and then I had a new appreciation for him when I saw him Rocky Horror. He is just so gosh darn sexy in whatever he does.

Susan Sarandon was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and the ABC late night host asked to recreate her infamous Selfie from Thelma & Louise with him. So she was given a scarf and he got a lot more like a wig and birthmark, and off to the green screen they went to recreate their moment. And you know what, they nailed it. Granted it helped that she hasn’t aged a day since the movie and he is a pretty convincing woman. So they had that going for them.

Back in 1991, Thelma & Louise took a Seflie that we haven’t forgotten about after all of these years. Today, Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis took another one and we won’t forget about it anytime soon. That’s because even though it has been nearly 25 years since they shot the buddy movie, they actually look better now than they did then. And they were looking pretty near perfect back then. I guess their secret to their youthful appearance is to be sleeping with younger men. I am OK with doing that to keep my young looks like them.
