The Sphere in Las Vegas has been following the Yellow Brick Road with screenings of The Wizard of Oz in their theater in the round for over a year.

But next year, they are going to do the Pelvic Thrust as they take the audience on a Time Warp to the Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Jim Dolan, Executive Chairman and CEO of Sphere Entertainment, said: “Through Sphere Studios, we are building a slate of original experiences that push the boundaries of technology and storytelling for this new medium, while always keeping the audience at the center of the experience. Since The Rocky Horror Picture Show premiered in 1975, it redefined audience participation and became a cultural phenomenon. With Sphere, we have the opportunity to take that spirit of immersion to an entirely new level.”

I think seeing the movie there is going to be just as exciting as the first time you lost your Rocky Horror virginity at a midnight screening. I still remember my first time, and unlike that other first time, I enjoyed it and didn’t want it to end. And it hasn’t! It has only gotten better with time.

So, how much anticip-ation do you have for the one-of-a-kind movie experience? Well, it is a different way to try out something familiar.

And the best part about it being in Las Vegas is that no one is going to question all the men walking around dressed like Dr. Frank-N-Furter. I mean, how can you not dress up? It is part of the magic!

And I really hope that they invite the surviving cast to the inaugural screening that would really toucha, toucha, toucha me!

Before Tim Curry starred in musicals like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Annie, he was singing his heart out in Hair. Didn’t you get turned on listening to the 23 year old talk in French during that 1969 interview?

Tim Curry spent most of his life laughing his way to the box office, so Ranker put a video together of him laughing in those movies. He has the rare ability to have a both a happy and psychotic laugh at the same time that makes you both happy and scared sh!tless.
Kind of like Thursday, it’s almost Friday but we still have another day to go before the weekend. Therefore we can spend this weekend watching one of the Curry’s movies so we can hear that crazy chuckle over and over again. Until then we can just watch this over and over again until the clock strikes 5p.

Can you believe it has been 40 years since The Rocky Horror Picture Show came out? Well it has been and 6 of the cast members from the movie got together to do an interview with Today. They are Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Meat Loaf and Patricia Quinn.
Sadly, Today f*cked it up by editing their reunion as a package instead of doing a live Q&A with them. Even though we didn’t hear much from the legends, we did learn how Curry came up with the character he created for Dr. Frank-N-Furter and Sarandon talked about getting pneumonia while filming the movie.
Sadly, we didn’t hear enough from the actors, but it was great to see them all together again. What was even better was seeing how great Tim Curry is looking after his stroke. Can I tell you, I read that he lives in my little town. It is going to take all of my will power not to kidnap my niece and go trick or treating in my neighborhood to find out where he lives. Shhh, don’t tell. I just have been a fan of his ever since I saw him in Annie and then I had a new appreciation for him when I saw him Rocky Horror. He is just so gosh darn sexy in whatever he does.
