Even though it has been 20 years and 6 days since Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman aired its series finale that does not mean that the two leads stopped taking their friendship to new heights. Dean Cain and Teri Hatcher are in Sydney for a convention and decided to do the BridgeClimb Sydney, which opened a year after their show ended. While Lois was brave, Clark Kent said, “Teri was nails. I was terrified.” Imagine what he was like when they harnessed him to pretend that he was flying on his superhero show? Probably as nervous as Brooke Shields was when she lost her virginity to him. Too soon?
When it comes to Hatcher and Cain, why doesn’t someone do a revival of their show? I want to know what a middle aged Superman would be like. How interesting would that be?
In the last week, Andrew Garfield has kissed Ryan Reynolds and Stephen Colbert on the lips, but there was person that he got nervous about going lip to lip. Today on Live with Kelly and Jerry (Just give him the job already!), the hosts asked him about Sunday’s kiss at the Golden Globes. Then Jerry O’Connell suggested that Spider-man console Kelly Ripa with a kiss like he did with Deadpool. When she stuck her tongue out, he looked like a bug about to fly into his web. Luckily for him, he was able to get out of that sticky situation before it was too late.
While DC Comics movies has gone very dark, Marvel Comics has lightened up. Which is why their movies have done much better at the box office. Case in point, here is the umpteenth reboot of Spider-Man and they definitely have brought some humor to Peter Parker. Which is exactly what the webbed wonder has needed to happen him. At least that is my take on it because I can’t wait to see this movie on July 7th.
Ever since The CW announced that Tyler Hoechlin was going to play Superman on Supergirl, we have wondered what he would look in the red cape. Now we know and he looks super. Best looking Man of Steel since Henry Cavill.
Seriously though, I am even more excited to see him in the role than I was before.
And if all goes well, maybe The CW will have their fifth night of a DC Comics’ Superheros with a Superman spinoff. It’s been long enough since Smallville ended.

We are finally going to meet a new Superman on Supergirl because Clark Kent is coming to National City. According to DC Comics, he hasn’t been cast yet but he will be in the first two episodes at least.
I am still holding out hope that Tom Welling will reprise his role, but rumor has it he has been hesitant (OK a D!ck) about putting on the red cape.
So who should play the role? That is a tough one. Call me strange, but I kind of like the idea of Taylor Lautner in the role. I also wish that Darren Kagasoff was a little bit more muscular because he would be perfect for the role. Who do you think should get it?
Who knows, maybe if they are good enough, DC Comics will have a fifth show on The CW. Smallville has been off the air long enough to bring it back with an older 20something Superman. Right?
