Carrie Fisher passed away today at the age of 60 from the heart attack she suffered on Friday according to The New York Times.
She always has been and will always be Princess Leia from the Star Wars franchise. We loved her for that role as much as we love her what she did and said off-camera. She was an open book and as author of many autobiographies, she shared anything and everything about her life. Nothing was a secret and it was refreshing. From the good times to the bad times, she made us laugh and understand what she was going through.
She was a survivor until the end and now her legacy will live on through her movies, her daughter Billie Lourd and her dog Gary.
Today, keep her force alive by watching one of her many roles or interviews. It has I will be spending the day.

December 26th, 2016 under Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

Debbie Reynolds broke her silence yesterday about her daughter Carrie Fisher to reveal that she is in stable condition after heart attack on Friday during a flight back from London.
Let’s hope she continues to recuperate because we can’t lose her sense of humor just yet. We must keep praying because the force is working to heal her.

Chewbacca sings Silent Night
December 23rd, 2016 under Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

How It Should’ve Ended changed things up by giving us a little early Christmas present. Instead of showing how a movie should’ve ended, they mashed up Chewbacca’s scenes so that it looks like he is singing the holiday classic Silent Night. I can’t be silent about how I feel about, I love it. It is the best thing to happen to our favorite Wookie since their holiday special in 1978!
If you’ve never seen then, click here!

C-3PO said, ‘F*ck you,’ to K-2SO
December 19th, 2016 under Alan Tudyk, Conan O'Brien, Star Wars. [ Comments: none ]

Even though Rogue One takes place almost as many years as before the amount of time it has been since Star Wars has come out, a lot has changed in the galaxy of film making in that time.
Back when Anthony Daniels played the lovable droid, he actually had to get into that costume. Alan Tudyk told Conan O’Brien on his TBS late night show that when played K-2SO, they recorded his movements for Motion Capture. Which is a lot easier to do. Therefore it makes sense that when Daniels found that out, he said to Tudyk, “You Sh!t!” If the Firefly star thought those words were harsh, they ain’t nothing as compared to what happened after C-P30 saw the film. He had just two words for the newest droid in the franchise and they were F*ck and you! Can you blame him?
When it comes to Tudyk, can you believe in his lengthy and respectable career, this was first late night interview. He nailed it! Can’t wait to see him do more.

Carrie Fisher went to fat camp for Star Wars
November 22nd, 2016 under Star Wars, Stephen Colbert. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1976, Carrie Fisher still had some of her baby fat on her and the producers of Star Wars told her she needed to lose some weight to play Princess Leia. Yesterday on The Late Show she told Stephen Colbert how she did it. She went to a fat farm with Lady Bird Johnson and advice columnist Ann Landers. The First Lady couldn’t remember the film title and the Landers had a lot of advice for her that we know she didn’t follow from her autobiographies.
Yes, she sort of talks about her affair with Harrison Ford, but not really. It was cute to see her blush about it.
But it was even more cute to watch Gary steal the show!
