Mel B had a weekend that lived up to her Spice Girls’ name, as in it was Scary.
The singer posted the above photo and wrote, “Thankyou to all the wonderful nurses dr’s and my amazing surgeon for the care and expertise given to me here at the hospital I’ve been staying at,suffering 2 broken ribs a severed right hand needing emergancy care,to having had to have over a 3 hr surgery to repair the damage hence the purple sling,l’ve had to unfortunately cancel my book signing today in NY,I appolagise to each and everyone one of you who bought there tickets to meet me todayI’m absolutely gutted but I can
assure you it WILL happen at a later date,l promise,but for now My right arm/hand is
all stitched up and I’m trying to keep still to heal my broken ribs,ohhh the pain,but I’m
in super safe hands with the care of everyone here at the hospital!!!Ithank you all for understanding,l love you all #accidentshappen #needtimetoheal”
She did not say how she severed her right hand (thus all of her typos) and broke her ribs, so we are left to assume what really happened. What do you think happened? Where was trickster Howie Mandel?
Hopefully, she will be better by the time the 4 Spice Girls launch their United Kingdom tour this summer.
Emma Bunton was on Live with Kelly and Ryan yesterday and the hosts wanted to know how the Spice Girls got their start.
The singer told them that her music teacher in college was her there was a group of girl who were looking for another member. She told her mom, who then drove her to the train station to meet the girls. They got along so well, that five of them would meet up at her mom’s and rehearse in her living room. In fact, when they were out on the road, Mrs. Bunton would make them sandwiches to eat on the way. How sweet?
I think we can all agree that is how she got her name Baby Spice.
On Halloween, Mel B dressed up as Victoria Beckham with a sign that read, “No I am not going on tour.” Today, we found what that means. Baby, Ginger, Scary and Sporty are going to do six dates in the United Kingdom without Posh.
Personally, I do not think that will be as much of as an issue as compared to do you want to spend the big bucks to see them live? Do people still care about them like they did the last time they went on tour? I don’t see it, but I could be wrong.
I wonder if the six dates are just a test to see if they can sell tickets around the world.
Mel B and her boyfriend Gary Madatyan dressed up as her Spice Girls bandmate Victoria Beckham and her husband David Beckham for Halloween. Which is all fine and well, until you read her sign. It reads, “No I am not going on tour.” In reference to Posh Spice being the holdout for a reunion tour. That is cold.
I get that Scary Spice is mad that the tour is off, but, I think, this will definitely not make her want to do it if she was even considering it.
