Next week, class starts again for Saved By the Bell on Peacock. Now, we are getting to hear the new theme song. Well, it is the old one that has been reimagined by Lil Yachty.
What do you think? I think it sounds like the cheaper, less exciting version of the theme song that you hear when the show goes into syndication, and they can’t afford the original tune.
Earlier this week, we saw Zack, Kelly, Jessie, and Slater together in the trailer for the Saved By the Bell reboot that is coming to Peacock on November 25th. Today, we got a Thanksgiving surprise from Lark Voorhies. She revealed that she will reprise her role as Lisa Turtle. We don’t know much about her return, but it looks like her character has gone into fashion.
On that note, I hope that Screech is just fashionably late. It just won’t feel the same without Dustin Diamond.
Does this latest casting news make you even more excited for its return?
Last year when Peacock announced that they were doing a Saved By the Bell reboot with Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley, none of the other cast members seemed to know about it. Well, things changed; Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffany Amber Theissen are now part of the sitcom that debuts on November 25th.
Today, we get to see the four of them reunited in the trailer. While it is not the Bayside we grew up with, it is still nice to see them together again. Are you excited for the Zack Attack in a month?
Before Elizabeth Berkley was Saved By the Bell, Nell was hoping to be saved by the bell from Berkley and her siblings on Gimme Break. She looks the same now as she did when she was 13 in that 1986 episode.
Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are bringing back their characters Slater and Jessie for a Saved By the Bell sequel on Peacock. After watching the second trailer for the show, I think the cast members, who were not invited back, are the lucky ones. If a Kardashian joke is the best you can do, then I would keep trying.
On a positive note, Peacock officially picked up MacGruber to series. To see Will Forte’s announcement, then click here!
