Jesse James asks for forgiveness

Jesse James breaks his silence via a statement to People about his marital problems with Sandra Bullock.

Although he called “the vast majority” of allegations against him “untrue and unfounded,” he says in a statement provided to PEOPLE, “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me.”
“It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way,” he says in the statement. “This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them. I hope one day they can find it in their hearts to forgive me.”

Looks like the Oscar Best Actress curse did strike Sandra Bullock which means she probably won’t be taking him back. I am really sad they didn’t work out because it sounded like at the Golden Globes that she really loved him, but he screwed up what they had for…well a screw.

Has the Oscar Best Actress curse struck Sandra Bullock?

Winning the Oscars’ Best Actress award should be a good thing, but it seems like when you bring home Oscar he is the only man you can have in your life. In other words almost all of the actresses who have won the honor in the new millennium have split with the man they took with them to Academy Awards when they accepted the Award.
Here is the breakdown according to MovieLine: Julia Roberts was the first one to experience the curse after she broke up with Benjamin Bratt just months after winning the award. Next up was Halle Berry who only lasted another year with her then husband Eric Benet. Charlize Theron went the longest with Stuart Townsend, but almost 6 years later they are no more. While Hilary Swank and Chad Lowe survived her first win, they didn’t make it another year after she won her second one. Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Philippe also didn’t make it a year after she won. Last year’s winner Kate Winslet just announced her split from Sam Mendes.
And finally less than two weeks after her win, Sandra Bullock is rumored to have moved out of the home she shared with her husband Jesse James. Earlier today In Touch magazine reported that Jesse James cheated on Sandra Bullock while she filmed the movie that won her the Oscar. The magazine spoke with Michelle “Bombshell” McGee who claims that she had an 11 month affair with him, and she says he told her that Sandra and him had already split and that is the only reason she had sex with him. Now People is reporting that on Monday, two days before In Touch came out, that Sandra had already left Jesse James. Speculation of their split was fueled when the London premiere of The Blind Side was cancelled after Sandra Bullock pulled out for an undisclosed reason. Now with People claiming she moved out and no denial from her people that she is still with her husband, it looks like the Oscar Best Actress has struck again.
I am really sad to see them split because whenever she accepted her SAG Award, it sounded like they were a couple truly in love and I was actually envious of their relationship. Guess you never know who is going to make it in this town. BTW it kind of makes sense now why she went to the Razzies solo and did not mention his name in her Oscar acceptance speech, maybe she knew then what we know now. So sad.
Finally there are three actresses who have not bitten by the curse, Nicole Kidman who had already split from Tom Cruise, Helen Mirren who is still married to Taylor Hackford and Marion Cotillard who is still with Guillaume Canet. You know Meryl Streep maybe it is a good thing you haven’t won the honor since 1982!

Gotta love Sandra Bullock for keeping to her word and attending the Razzies if she won worst actress! She is only third the actor to accept the honor in Razzies’ 30 year history, the other 2 are Tom Green and Halle Berry. And we all know Halle is an Oscar winner, so let’s pray that Sandra suffers that same fate tonight!
BTW you know I love the Razzies because I have seen more of their movies than the Oscar nominees. Granted some of them I wish I didn’t see like Hannah Montana: The Movie and All About Steve. Joking I just voted for Sandra so she would go to the show, just like she said!

BTWF roles: Sandra Bullock in Bionic Showdown
March 3rd, 2010 under Before They Were Famous, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

Before Sandra Bullock was nominated for Oscars’ Best Actress for The Blind Side, she was a Bionic Woman in Bionic Showdown: The Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman . The 24 year old actress has come a long way since that 1989 telemovie.
BTW that most awesome cheesy movie is on YouTube in case you want to watch it. I know I have been enjoying it!

The best speeches from the SAG Awards
January 24th, 2010 under Awards, Betty White, Eli Roth, Quentin Tarantino, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me and find all these Awards shows extremely boring, here are the best speeches from last night’s SAG Awards!
If it weren’t for the fact they were honoring Betty White, I would not have DVRed the SAG Awards, but as they said who doesn’t love Betty White! And what an introduction Sandra Bullock gave to Betty as she received the much deserved Life Achievement Award and what an acceptance speech Ms Betty White gave when she got the naked little man statuette! I especially loved the clip reel because I never saw Betty’s early work before so it was such a joy to see she is really a brunette. Who knew she wasn’t a natural blonde? I also love that the Golden Girl is 88 years young and she still has all of her wit…her dirty little wit!!! Now when it comes to Sandra accepting her award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for a Motion Picture, how much did you adore her speech where she praises her husband! I so want a marriage like theirs because you can tell that they really love each other, afterall he is wearing a monkey suit for her. Next time she forces him to dress up is the Oscars!!!
Next up is Drew Barrymore, who is finally winning awards for her acting! I love her speeches and I admire that she tries to do them off the cuff. Next up for her is the Emmys, hopefully by then she will have this award accepting thing down!
Finally it is time for the Inglourious Basterds and we have Christoph Waltz who is just so humbled by all of his awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture and if anyone deserves the award for best actor this year it is him. Plus his speeches are so original and sincere, how can you not love him. Lastly we have Eli Roth accepting Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture for the cast and he is the only actor who actually named all of the cast that was up there on the stage with him when they won that honor and I respect him for that. Next up fro Christoph is the Oscars!
Here are all of the winners:

Actress in a leading role: Sandra Bullock, “The Blind Side.”
