He wrote, “Dear #CodeBlack fans, the sad news came today that we were cancelled. It’s been a true joy to make this show and watch your response every week. Thank you for all of your passion. Truly, our best episodes have yet to air. We hope you’ll watch and enjoy them. We made them for you.”
I have seen the remaining episodes and he is not overexaggerating how good those episodes truly are. Will fans be upset with the, now, series finale? He addressed that and said, “We always suspected this would be the last season. We wrote it to end that way.” Again, having seen that episode, I think fans will be very satisfied with the ending.
I am sad to see this medical drama go because it was a different take than the other shows like it. Because of that, it was a fast-paced enjoyable hour of television. Plus, it had a really great cast that includes Marcia Gay Harden, Luis Guzman, Ben Hollingsworth and Rob Lowe. I wish CBS would have kept it around as a summer show, but at least we have the remaining episodes that air Wednesdays at 10p.

Tonight at 10p, Code Black checks in for a third season on CBS. Mama (Luis Guzman) and Papa (Marcia Gay Harden) have their hand fulls at one of the busiest ERs in the country.
The episode starts off with the new interns and they are going to have a busy first day ahead of them. Col. Ethan Willis (Rob Lowe) is a field doctor this season and he is going to ride along with Rox Valenzuela (Moon Bloodgood). Their first case together is a shootout at a house where they have powder Fentanyl. They have to save the victims of both the gunshots and the ones who inhaled the drug. Both are equally as fatal.
While they are out in the field Dr. Leanne Roris (Harden) brings her foster daughter (Emily Alyn Lind) into work as a candy striper. Ariel will meet a boy with cancer and fall in love. Not only that she will learn a lot about life while she works at the hospital.
In the coming weeks, they will deal with a warehouse collapse, a road rage incident, a 12-year-old girl who is alone on a plane with her mom who is passed out, deadly wildfires, an accident at a step competition, a boat explosion, a kid who drinks boiling water, one of their own who is injured in a hit and run, and finally a plane crash.
If that is not enough to deal with, they have to deal with their personal lives too. There will be loss, love and so much more. They are a make-shift family in all of this madness.
Be prepared to laugh and cry with each episode. And next week get ready to dance along with a musical number that opens the show. There is a reason for it and the cast and crew went all out for this song and dance number.
Code Black is the perfect mix of medical and personal drama rolled into one great show. One that heats up our summer nights and gives us the adrenaline to get through the rest of week.
Whether you have seen this show before or tonight will be the first time, you will quickly be hooked on this thrilling medical drama that has a lot of heart as they are saving lives.
Rob Lowe posed with Dermot Mulroney and Dylan McDermott, or is it Dylan McDermott and Dermot Mulroney? Anyways, he looks like what would happen if the two actors merged as one. Which they basically have because can anyone but them tell them apart? I know I can’t. Can you?
We have seen Rob Lowe do somet interesting roles like Bad Influence and The Stand, and his latest one might be his most interesting one to date. Along with his sons, Matthew and John, he is going to investigate the unknown in The Lowe Files starting tonight at 9p on A&E.
The reality show’s first case is the very haunted Preston Castle. The three Lowes along with Shaman investigate the castle and it is unlike any other paranormal program on television. Because it is their first time, they ask a lot questions which gives you more insight into the workings of ghost hunting. Plus, since they are novices, they are very skeptical to it all. Will spending the night in a place that has seen its fair share of death change their minds? You will have a ball finding out. Ball is a hint, BTW!
It is not only their curiosity of the unknown that makes show a must watch, it is their father/son relationship that will instantly have you addicted. They are just like most families where the sons and dad have a bond that makes them inseparable even though they sometimes want to be separated. Plus, the actor is the biggest kid of them all. So much so, you will want to be his friend because he is such a cool dude.
Like the Lowes, I love urban legends and unsolved mysteries, so I have been dying to see this show since it was announced. Files did not disappoint and even exceeded my expectations because of the family ties between Rob, John and Matthew! It that relationship that makes this different than anything else like it on television. Plus, who doesn’t want to get to know the real Rob Lowe?
Even though Rob Lowe is 53 years old, he does not look it. The actor does what he can to keep his youthful appearance. Things like moisturizing all the time and working out. Both things leave you sticky when wet. Here he is very sticky after an intense workout, so much so his wet t-shirt clung to his body like a cat clings to you if you were to trying to give it a bath. While that pussy is unhappy, mine is not after seeing this photo. Sorry that was crude, but it is Monday and unlike Garfield I am liking today after seeing this!
