Access Hollywood was interviewing Reba McEntire at The Voice, but they wanted to ask her about something else. They wanted to know if the Coach is still a fan of Taylor Swift now that she is dating Reba’s celebrity crush, Travis Kelce.
So, has it changed Reba’s feelings about her friend? “Yes, it has. I don’t like her anymore.” Then Reba added, “I love her!”
And why should McEntire be jealous? After all, there are rumors she is finally engaged to Rex Linn.
Gwen Stefani and John Legend have gotten close while working on The Voice together. So much so that she had a dream about his wife, Chrissy Teigen.
What did she dream about? Is it the type of dream that Blake Shelton and Legend would like to see in real life? Yes, but not that type of dream.
Today on Today, Legend told the story, as per Stefani’s urging, that in December, she had a vision that she saw Chrissy Teigen holding two babies that were not twins, but they were about the same age.
Back then, we knew that Chrissy was very pregnant with Esti, but we did not know that the couple was using a surrogate to have baby #4. So Gwen knew about Wren before Legend told her.
How freaky is that? And what is the connection? This shh is bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s!
The Voice will be back in Fall with John Legend, Niall Haron, Gwen Stefani, and new Coach Reba McEntire. So you think NBC would be focusing on that? You know, because it hasn’t even aired it yet.
But they are also planning for season 25, which will come in 2024. So today, they announced who are going to be the coaches. And there is going to be a first in the show’s history.
Legend will be back for his ninth season. McEntire and Chance the Rapper are doing their second. And on a two-note, for the first time, we are going to have a coaching dup because Dan + Shay are joining the show.
Since they both can’t sit in one seat, the singing competition will have them sitting side-by-side in a spinning red chair specially designed for them.
Are you excited about how two heads are going to think like one?
The Voice airs its season finale next Tuesday, which is also Blake Shelton’s last episode as a coach on the singing competition after 23 seasons.
So that means we need a coach of his magnitude for next season. Who is it going to be? Today, NBC revealed who it is. Reba McEntire, who has previously served as a mentor, will be sitting in the red hot swivel chair for the first time. She will be joined by EGOT-winner John Legend, who is returning for his 9th season. One Direction’s Niall Horan will be vying for his second season. Shelton and Kelly Clarkson, who is leaving Toluca Lake for NYC, will not be back. But for some reason, they thought that we wanted Gwen Stefani. Besides Blake, who else wants her? She is so last century.
It has been 16 years since we said goodbye to Reba. However, the cast didn’t say goodbye to each other when the cameras stopped rolling, and they are still good friends.
On Saturday night, Reba McEntire played the Hollywood Bowl, and her daughter with her husband, and her husband’s new wife came to see her perform. Not her real family, but the one she had on her show.
Seeing the Country singer reunited with JoAnna Garcia, Steve Howey, and Melissa Peterman makes me wish the rumors of a sequel series would come true already. I miss their sitcom!
