Tonight at 8p on NBC, we are finally going to meet Isabella’s (Belissa Escobedo) mother, Maritza (Justina Machado), on Happy’s Place.
Martiza is not happy her daughter moved away and gave up her dreams to work at the bar her late father, whom she never met, owned. Will Isabella be able to explain why she is staying there? Will Maritza share with Isabella why she kept her daughter’s father a secret?
How will Reba feel meeting the woman who her father had an affair with, which led to her having a sister she never knew about?
You will have to tune in for another touching and funny episode of a sitcom that is worthy of Reba!

Then at 8:30p on the season finale of Lopez vs Lopez, George is dealing with having the mom, Elsa (Terri Hoyos), who abandoned him back in his life. And let’s just say he is not happy about it. So, he asks his daughter Mayan (Mayan Lopez) not to invite her to her wedding to Quinten (Matt Shively).
So Mayan and Quentin go to tell Elsa the news, and she doesn’t take it so well. In fact, she takes it so badly that she goes to her old home where George lives and locks him and his family out.
Will they be able to get back in? Not before George learns a secret about his mother that will change everything.
And that is not the only secret that someone is keeping, Mayan and Quinten have one of their own.
What is it? You must tune in for what I hope is not the sitcom’s final episode.
Lopez vs Lopez proves that a real-life family who has had their growing pains can be a lot of fun to watch when they try to right a wrong.
In 2001, Reba McEntire wrote and sang the Reba theme song, I’m a Survivor, and it was a catchy tune. So catchy that 23 years later, if her then and current co-star, Melissa Peterman, says, “A single mom,” both ladies sing the rest of the tune. Much to the delight of the audience who was there for a taping of their funny sitcom, Happy’s Place.
And this time around, their new co-star, Belissa Escobedo, joined in. Want to feel old? She just turned 3 years old when Reba premiered.
If you have not seen Happy’s Place, you should check it out this Friday at 8p on NBC. The chemistry between the cast is perfect, and you won’t stop laughing!
Happy’s Place reunited Reba McEntire with her Reba co-star Melissa Peterman and creator Kevin Abbott. Since then, we saw a reunion with them and Steve Howey, who also starred on the program, for an episode.
In the coming weeks, someone else from the WB series will be appearing on the NBC sitcom. Christopher Rich, who played Reba’s ex and Melissa’s husband on Reba, is going to be a guest star.
According to Variety, Rich is playing Maverick, “a local tattoo artist that is very good at his job … as long as he’s using his right hand. Turns out Maverick has had a stroke and likes to tease new clients about which hand he’s going to use when he starts doing their tattoos.” Is it wrong that I hope that Reba and Gabby fight over him? Just like old tim4es!
That is not the only guest star coming to the bar comedy. We are finally going to meet Bella’s mother, and she will be played by Justina Machado.
On Friday nights, we get a little Reba reunion on Happy’s Place with Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, and EP Kevin Abbott.
But we want more, and we got it. Over the weekend, Reba and Peterman met up with their TV husband, Brock, I mean Christopher Rich, to break bread.
There was a surprise guest with one of the McClellan twins who played Brock and Barbara Jean’s son. He is all grown up, and I feel so old.
Hopefully, the two actresses told their boss about this meetup, and they ask the two actors to guest star on the comedy. I’d love to see a reunion on the small screen.
Happy’s Place brought Reba McEntire, Melissa Peterman, and Executive Producer Kevin Abbott together again, and people are loving it. So, today, NBC ordered five more episodes of the show about Reba finding out that her late father fathered another girl, and now the two new sisters are running his bar.
Raise a glass to Happy’s Place for being around for a full season.
