Pizza companies around the world have been creating crazy and wacky pizza pies that are also extreme delicious. Now, Pizza Hut has taken it to a whole new level with their pizza box. It is not edible like the one in NYC, theirs is one that actually works like a DJ Turntable. That’s right, it is cardboard box with Bluetooth that connects to your computer, phone or MP3 player. It then let’s you pick two songs to play on the turntables that come with adjustable buttons on it like what a professional DJ would use.
How much does it goes for? Where can I get it? Because I don’t know about you, but I want it now. Here’s the problem, it is only available in The UK and it is not for sale. What? All we know, is we have to follow the PizzaHutUK Twitter page to find out how we can win one the 5 they are giving away.
Personally, I don’t know why they aren’t marketing it because there is totally an audience who would pay to own one of those Rockin’ cardboard pizza boxes.
Now, you have to wonder what they will come up with next? Sometimes it is better to be surprised because it is getting crazier and crazier with each reveal.
Little Caesars has surrounded their pizza crust with bacon. Pizza Hut Down Under put meat pies in theirs. Now the Yanks are putting pigs in a blanket in theirs. On June 18th, you can order your pepperoni pizza surrounded by mini franks from Pizza Hut. It’s an appetizer and a meal all rolled into one. When you are done, you can call 9-1-1.
I don’t know what has happened in the last few years, but I think all of fast food companies are trying to kills us even faster than they did before. Every time I wonder, what the heck they are going to come up with next, they come up with something even more horrifying and scrumptious than the last thing. For the last few days I’ve seen ads from Carls Jr for their The Most American Thickburger that is topped with a hot dog and bottomed out with chips. As disgusting and unhealthy as that looks, I so want to sink my teeth into one. Just as my mind pictures it, my heart reminds me what I shouldn’t do with a painful reminder.
What is the most tantalizing thing you’ve seen from a fast food company recently?
Australia’s Pizza Hut and Four’N Twenty got together and made a baby. That baby is a little bit of both of them. Pizza Hut’s pizza crust has Four’N Twenty’s steak pies embedded in it. I don’t know if that looks like it’s the yummiest thing I’ve ever seen or the deadliest. I think it is a little bit of both.
Just when I think they can’t come up with any more delectable yet wacky food combinations, they do. I am afraid to ask what is next because you know it is coming.
