Saved By the Bell gets a sophomore season
January 19th, 2021 under Peacock, Saved by the Bell/City Guys. [ Comments: none ]

When Peacock launched, they announced they were doing a reboot of Saved By the Bell with Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley. Needless to say, the fans didn’t need caffeine pills to get so excited.

Therefore, when the show debuted on Thanksgiving, the ’90s kids, who spent their Saturday mornings with them, were excited to do it again. Especially, since they got a Zack Attack from Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Tiffani Amber Thiessen, and Lark Vorhees.

However, it was not just about them, but it is also about the newest class. This season they took on many important topics such as race, inclusion, class, and education.

In other words, it has things for the original fans and the newer ones. Thus, it makes sense that the show got picked up for 10 more classes, I mean episodes.

Hopefully, they will find a way to incorporate Dustin Diamond, who was diagnosed with stage IV cancer last week.

Punky Brewster finally gets a launch date
January 6th, 2021 under Peacock, Soleil Moon Frye. [ Comments: none ]

When Peacock announced what shows they are rebooting at their launch party, I was most excited for Punky Brewster. Well, after months and months of waiting, the revival, that stars the show’s original actresses Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson, finally has a premiere date.

That date is February 25th. Valentine’s Day is coming a little late this year. Then again, what isn’t?

Until the sitcom starts streaming, I am just going to listen to the happy theme song over and over again because all of this makes me happy. Things we need more of in 2021!

As happy as I am, there is one thing missing from this photo. That thing is a dog. Punky needs a dog!

The Bayside 4 are reunited in the Saved By the Bell trailer
October 27th, 2020 under Peacock, Saved by the Bell/City Guys. [ Comments: none ]

Last year when Peacock announced that they were doing a Saved By the Bell reboot with Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley, none of the other cast members seemed to know about it. Well, things changed; Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Tiffany Amber Theissen are now part of the sitcom that debuts on November 25th.

Today, we get to see the four of them reunited in the trailer. While it is not the Bayside we grew up with, it is still nice to see them together again. Are you excited for the Zack Attack in a month?

Even a caffeine pill joke can’t get me excited for the new Saved By the Bell
August 10th, 2020 under Peacock, Saved by the Bell/City Guys, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

Mario Lopez and Elizabeth Berkley are bringing back their characters Slater and Jessie for a Saved By the Bell sequel on Peacock. After watching the second trailer for the show, I think the cast members, who were not invited back, are the lucky ones. If a Kardashian joke is the best you can do, then I would keep trying.

On a positive note, Peacock officially picked up MacGruber to series. To see Will Forte’s announcement, then click here!

They definitely knew Norm’s name at Cheers
June 24th, 2020 under Peacock. [ Comments: none ]

We are less than a month away from the launch of NBC Universal’s streaming service Peacock. As soon as July 15th hits, then we will have access to every epsiodes of Cheers.

What does that mean? That means we will get a hearty laugh whenever we need one. Not only that, we can go to a place where everybody knows our name. There is one name they know better than all of the others, and it is Norm. How well do they know it? Watch this video to see everytime they called out his name. Well, everyone but Diane, who would yell out, “Norman,” and Woody, who was even more formal with “Mr. Peterson.”

I never realized until this 18-minute compilation, all of the jokes he had after they said his name. Watch the video all the way through because they get better with each season.

Norm!
