Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Lily Allen has publicly decried Paris Hilton, claiming her music career is a fad. The singer finds it hard to believe that Hilton has been able to secure a record contract, and is bewildered that at members of the public who have gone out to buy it. "Five years ago Paris Hilton’s album would have done really well over here (in the UK), because we didn’t have things like the Internet; we didn’t have bands like myself or the Arctic Monkeys," Allen said. "Now people can see (Paris) for what she is, and think: ‘Go away! What makes you think you have a life?’ Paris Hilton’s album did really badly over here and I just think it’s so boring and pathetic and it shouldn’t happen. It’s just laziness. People cheesy enough to buy albums like that should be killed."

Maybe because I am one of those cheesy people who wants to buy Paris’ album, I think she went a little too far saying that people should get killed. Plus 5 years ago we did have the internet and we also had bands like Blink 182, Sum 41 and Weezer (which are better than her) and we still would’ve felt the same way about Paris.

Paris Hilton and Britney Spears (who struck up an unlikely kinship in late November, following Spears’ separation from hubby Kevin Federline, 28) are on the rocks, and it looks like Spears, 25, was the heartbreaker. Weeks ago, “Britney called Paris and said she had decided not to be seen in public with her ‘for now,’” a Hilton source tells Us. Though the pair were once practically joined at the hip (they previously had a sleepover in Las Vegas and were spied dancing on banquettes at West Hollywood’s Hyde), things went sour after Spears took heat in the media for partying while leaving her two kids, Sean, 15 months, and Jayden, 3 months, at home. “Britney told Paris that it’s not personal,” says an insider. But beware a Hilton scorned. According to another source, the heiress, 25, didn’t invite Spears to her December 18 Christmas party and now refers to her ex-pal as “Animal.” Why? “Britney doesn’t think about things before she does them. She just acts out,” says the source. (Spears’ rep couldn’t be reached for comment. Says Hilton’s camp: “Her friendships are her own business.”)

Britney messed with the wrong person when she messed with Paris. But then again Britney is capable of making a big mess of her life all by herself.

It must be Christmas! The word on the street is that Paris Hilton has given up her dreams of being a fully fledged pop star after her debut album didn’t go down very well. Paris released the self titled album earlier this year, but after having a dabble, she has called it quits. A source told the Daily Star: "You don’t need to worry about listening to any more music from Paris – there won’t be any. "Her career as a singer is going to be allowed to quietly go away." Yayyy…

Was Britney Spears fooling around on Kevin Federline before the two split? And did Spears’s friendship with Paris Hilton cool because of the man in question? Spears is dating J.R. Rotem, a friend of K-Fed’s who produced several songs on his debut CD and who is working with Spears on her comeback album, according to several reports. But sources tell Star magazine that some of Spears’s friends were convinced that hanky panky was going on between the two before Spears filed for divorce from her husband. Another source, however, says while there was “definite chemistry” Spears and Rotem waited until she filed papers But there’s also buzz that Britney’s former best friend Paris Hilton also dated Rotem — and when Spears found out, her friendship with Hilton soured. Rotem also worked with Hilton on her debut CD, and the two dated briefly. “It was nothing serious, just a few hookups,” a source told Star. “I bet a million dollars that J.R. tired to keep that a secret from Britney,” adds the source. “Britney would probably flip out if she knew that he’d romanced Paris first.” Meanwhile, the situation between Spears and Federline continues to deteriorate. A recent phone call between the two turned ugly, reports In Touch Weekly, when Spears asked her soon-to-be-ex-hubby if he’d seen pics of her smooching Rotem. “It was really bad,” an “eyewitness source” told the mag, adding that Spears also started bragging to her ex about some sex she’d had. Federline was furious, although he reportedly isn’t quite sure whether he believes that she’s been dating. “[Spears] just started pushing his buttons. … He started screaming at her.” Spears is reportedly also taunting Federline about no longer living the lavish life they shared, but sources say that he continues to gather info on her hard partying to use in the custody battle against her.

I understand that he is a great music producer and all, but ewwwww. I doubt he came between them, but you never know?
