Owen Wilson is going from playing a dog owner to playing an owned dog. The Marley & Me star has signed on to voice Marmaduke in the screen version of the long running comic strip according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The movie will deal with Marmaduke and his family moving from Kansas to Orange County, Ca and he will be involved in a turf war between the pedigrees vs the mutts. Mischievous Marmaduke will set his eyes on a purebred, but will he be able to win her heart or fall from grace?
The movie also stars “Judy Greer, Lee Pace and William H. Macy play the humans, while Fergie, Emma Stone, George Lopez, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Steve Coogan, Damon Wayans, Marlon Wayans supply the voices.”
If anyone but Owen Wilson were starring in this movie, I would probably be bashing it. But I am curious to see what they are going to do with it. Most of these movies are really enjoyable even if they are geared towards kids. After all we are all kids at heart!
Before we got to know The Wilson Brothers in The Royal Tennenbaums, they worked together in the 15 minute short Bottle Rocket. While the 22 year Luke Wilson looks the same as he did in 1994, the 25 year old Owen looks so different with the crew cut. I am glad Owen let his hair grow out because he looks better with the longer blonde locks!
Out of all the things to give someone, a real live camel is not one of them. But Ben Stiller still thought it would be a good idea to give Jimmy Kimmel one because he read it on Wikipedia that JK likes camels. That idea was as funny as Stiller’s movies. What was funny though were some of the jokes that Kimmel made up the incident and he’s not the “genius” that Ben is suppose to be. But the real pisser of it all is when the camel decided to release some of the extra water he stores in his humps. Dang that thing peed more than a frat boy the morning after a really good party. Take a look at the floor after Guillermo takes the camel out to see the pond he left on the floor. Dang and he still has him manly humps, he is lovely manly humps. BTW after the camel is gone stop watching the interview because even Jimmy couldn’t make him watchable.
Tonight on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 12:05 he will have on Tim Daly and Common.
Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson have split yet again according to WENN. "Owen wants to get married and he proposed to Kate soon after they got back together. But she’s not ready.” I thought they were going to make it this time. BTW what number time is it again? I lost count because it has been so many times.
Before Jack Black was trying to survive in the jungle in King Kong (OMG that movie sucked), the only jungle he was fighting for his life in was Atari’s Pit Fall. OMFG how different did the 13 year old look back in 1982! I am not sure I have seen him clean shaven before, I think he should do that look more often!!!
