Seriously? OMG! WTF?

The sun is coming out on December 2nd for Nicole Scherzinger because she was cast in NBC’s live production of Annie. She will play Daddy Warbucks’ assistant, Grace Farrell.

“I’m so excited to be playing the role of Grace Farrell for NBC’s ‘Annie Live!’ Musical theater has always made my heart soar, so I’m over the moon to join this amazing cast for such a great classic,” Scherzinger said.

I have no doubt we are going to like her here because she can sing. Something that should be the first requirement when casting a live musical. But that is just my opinion.

Scherzinger is the second Fox singing competition judge to be cast for the special event. Harry Connick, Jr., who was a judge on American Idol, will play her boss and future husband. You would think NBC would have gone to The Voice first. Or maybe they did?

Here is some news that will surprise no one, Fox picked up The Masked Singer for a fourth season. According to Deadline, they are hoping to go back into production in August.

I am beginning to think that production will be able to restart by then, but I doubt they will be able to do it with an audience. Since they play a part in who gets an eliminated, it will be interesting what Fox does with that roadblock.

Have you been saying When I Grow Up I want to The Pussycat Dolls to get back together again? Well, you are all grown up because this Saturday the girl group will be performing on The X Factor finale.

This is their first big performance since they went on a break in 2010. Will it be their last? I guess it all depends on what happens on Saturday.

I would not be surprised if we saw them again on The Masked Singer’s Super Bowl episode.

Before the World Series got started, Nicole Scherzinger sang the Star-Spangled Banner. Or should I say shee sannng Tthhheeee Ssssttttttaaaaarrrrr-SSSpppppannngggggllllleeeedddddd Bbaaannneerrrrrrrrrrr.

Meaning she over-enunciated every word towards the end of the National Anthem. While she sounded great, people just wanted the game to get started already. The fans were taking a knee. Not to protest anything, they were doing it because their feet were hurting from standing so long.

Tonight at 9p, The Masked Singer will grace the airwaves on Fox. It is the strangest singing competition you have ever seen. Yet it is actually really enjoyable.

It is not full of people vying for a record contract. It is not celebrities singing as other singers. It is not celebrities trying to pretend they can sing when they can’t. It is twelve celebrities in full-body costumes and we have to guess who they are. They are Grammy winners, Emmy winners and pro-athletes. That is all we know about them.

Each week they will compete and we get a new clue to who they are under all of that fabric that covers their bodies from head to toe. They will perform, in groups of 2, a song in front of a live audience and panelists, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke, and host Nick Cannon. After they are done, the panelists will ask them some questions to see if maybe they can guess what is their identity.

After each group of 2 performs, the audience and the panelists decide who they want to keep around. At the end of the night, the bottom person of each group will face another vote and the lowest scoring person goes home. This will keep on going until there is one.

Fox is so secretive about who is on the show, that they even blurred and bleeped out the losing contestants face and name on the two screener episodes they sent out. Thus, I don’t even know who they are. I think the person eliminated next week might be Tracy Morgan, but who knows, it can be anyone.

Although, wait until you hear the A-list celebrities they think are under the suits. They actually believe that Barack Obama might be one of the singers. Seriously, that is what he is going to do with his spare time? I think I am more on point when I tell you I think that La Toya Jackson is one of the competitors. That makes more sense, right?

Like I said, this is a show unlike any other. It so out there, that is truly enjoyable. It is like what did I smoke and can I have more of it. Who doesn’t need more of that these days?
