For the last two years, fans, like me, have been telling you how freaking amazing Cobra Kai is. Yet, you didn’t listen to us until the first two seasons started to stream on Netflix. Now, you are in the same boat as us, and you cannot wait to see what happens next.
Today, Netflix gave us so many answers. The third season will begin streaming on January 8th. Miguel (Xolo Maridueña) is alive because Cobra Kai never dies. Robbie (Tanner Buchanan) has been arrested, presumably because of what he did to Miguel. The best part to come out of this teaser is that we are getting a season four.
It is going to be a long three months and six days after watching that promo. We got some important questions answered, but I have a feeling that is just the tip (as in the first few minutes) of the season. We should expect so much more.
I actually feel bad for the series’ creators, Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald. Why? Because they have to find a way to top the epic, school clearing fight scene at the end of season two. I am a chick who hates dick flick things like that, but man, I don’t even think I blinked from the first punch until the last one.
If you have not seen Cobra Kai, what are you waiting for? How many more people have to tell you to watch it? It is available on Netflix, and there is nothing else we can do thanks to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Kominsky Method is coming back for a third season. However, Alan Arkin won’t be joining Michael Douglas for the final season.
According to Deadline, the 86-year-old Oscar-winner only planned on doing two seasons. His departure will be written into the show.
Arkin is the second lead actor to depart a Chuck Lorre before the new season. Anna Faris is leaving Mom to “pursue new opputunities.” This is a rarity for Lorre who never sees stars leave his shows unless their names are Charlie Sheen or Agnus T. Jones.
Back in 1991, we fell in love with Steve Martin and Diane Keaton as a happily married couple, whose daughter (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) is getting married, in Father of the Bride. Then four years later, the father of the bride was becoming a father again and a grandfather for the first time at the same time. Now, 25 years later the Banks are reuniting for Father of the Bride 3(ish).
We don’t know what is bringing them together (I say double wedding for the babies from the first sequel), but Netflix says it is for a special event. That special event might have something to do with the World Central Kitchen. That is because the reunion, that is written and directed by Nancy Meyers, is benefitting the nonprofit.
The sequel that also stars Kieran Culkin, George Newbern, Martin Short, and few special guests will debut tomorrow at 6 pm EST on Netflix and YouTube.
Maybe 2020 is not all bad. That is because Netflix is giving us The Christmas Chronicles 2 on November 25th.
At the end of The Christmas Chronicles we were introduced to Goldie Hawn playing Mrs. Claus to Kurt Russell’s Santa Claus. Today, we got to see the teaser for the sequel that is about their marriage.
I don’t know what the film is about, and I don’t care. Just seeing these two as the mother and father of Christmas gave me some holiday joy in September. They are one of Hollywood’s cutest couples, and seeing them together makes me happy. That is something we all need in 2020.
Back in 1997, Tampa businessman Don Lewis went missing. Since then, some have questioned if his second wife, Carole Baskin, fed her husband to her tigers. People like Joe Exotic, aka the Tiger King, and her stepchild, Donna, Gale, Lynda.
Tonight during Baskin’s debut on Dancing with the Stars, the Lewis girls bought commercial time so they could air their ad asking for information on their dad’s disappearance. They are offering a $100,000 reward for any information leading to the whereabouts of their father. If you know anything, contact their attorneys at Phillips & Hunt.
Hopefully, someone will know what happened, and they can finally get closure after 23 years.
