Can you see why NBC passed on Wonder Woman?
July 22nd, 2011 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

NBC opted not to pick up Wonder Woman to series and after watching those three clips it is obvious why. I love David E Kelley, but this was not the right project for him. He is better off with legal dramas. Adrianne Palicki was great in Friday Night Lights, but she seems too angry in the role that was originated on TV by Lynda Carter.
According to Deadline Hollywood, these scenes were not in the actual pilot that NBC saw. But you can still see why they said no.

It’s war between the judges on America’s Got Talent!
July 21st, 2011 under America's Got Talent, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

If you have been watching this season of America’s Got Talent, you know that there has been some tension between Howie Mandel and Piers Morgan because of the jokes that the comedian has been playing on the CNN host. Well on Tuesday night it was taken to a whole a new level when Howie tried to cool Piers down by squirting him with water during the show. It seems it got to Morgan because yesterday he got his revenge on Howie by squirting him with a Super Soaker when they were walking the red carpet. The bald judge being who he is found a much smaller water gun and squirted him in he crotch. You know there will be retaliation for the water fight, and I can’t wait to see how the other judges get Piers back.
Oh did I forget to mention that Piers also soaked Sharon Osbourne? She responded on Twitter by saying, “@piersmorgan This means war!” You know there will be a lot of water drawn on Tuesday’s episode of the NBC reality show.
Is it wrong for me to hope that there is one causality between the judges when the show comes back next season and his name in Pier Morgan?

Who would dare to leave pee on Howie Mandel’s toilet seat?
July 11th, 2011 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

On America’s Got Talent they showed video of germaphobe Howie Mandel having a hissy fit because someone left pee on his toilet seat. One of the show’s staff had to come to his trailer and calm him down. What that guy found had me laughing!
Part of me thinks how much fun would it be to work with the AGT judge and then the other part is like wait it would be all fun!!!

And the new Office manager is…
July 6th, 2011 under James Spader, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

When Steve Carrell announced that he was leaving The Office, people wondered who could they possibly get to replace him that would be just as good. Well the NBC did that (and I think even more so) by hiring James Spader to join the show. Paul Lieberstein, one of the series’ executive producers and a series regular said, “He’ll have been hired over the summer as the new manager, but within hours, got himself promoted. Within days, he took over the company. James has an energy that is completely his own, and ‘The Office’ has no tools for dealing with this guy. We’re thrilled he’s joining our cast.” And we are thrilled he is joining the show.
He is definitely the perfect choice and it will be interesting to see what he will do with the role. In fact I love him so much so I might even start watching the show now.

Law & Order: SVwho?
June 27th, 2011 under Dick Wolf, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

WireImage
NBC announced the two actors who will be replacing Chris Meloni, who opted not to return for the 13 season, and Mariska Hargitay, who is rumored to be leaving the show after 13 more episodes, on Law & Order: SVU. But before she leaves she will have to spend her time investigating who these two actors. The first is Danny Pino, who was on Cold Case. You know that old skewing show on CBS that no one under 50 was watching. The second is an actress who has killed the last two shows she was lead on before they were even able to get close to a second season. You won’t remember them so IMDB, Past Life and Chase.
Hearing who those two names are, I think Dick Wolf better come up with a new Law & Order ASAP or after over 20 years NBC will Law & Order-free after this upcoming season.
Although the Chairman of NBC Entertainment said this about them, “Kelli and Danny are two great actors who will join a proven cast headed by Mariska Hargitay as this exceptional series heads into a very promising 13th season.” Promising how?
Will you watch Law & Order: SVU with these two new unknowns? I mean Pino is easy on the eyes, but not easy enough for me to watch the ageing show.
