I always knew Chuck and Casey had a thing
July 16th, 2012 under NBC, Zachary Levi. [ Comments: none ]

The best thing to come out of Comic Con this weekend was not a preview of any movies or TV shows, but it was nerd love. During Nerd HQ a Chuck fan gave Zachary Levi a $1,000 donation to Operation Smile in return for a kiss. When he saw how much the check was for he dipped her as he gave her a huge kiss on the lips. Well as soon as Nathan Fillion saw that, he threw some cash at Levi and kissed him smack on the lips. Well Adam Baldwin was not going to be outdone by Castle, so Casey did to Chuck something I have waited years to see. Am I the only one who was rooting for Casey and Chuck as compared to Chuck and Sarah? Actually I am lying I am hoping for a Chuck/Castle affair. Two good men like that, what more does a girl need? Oh wait now I am think Baldwin might be a better match with Fillion, did you see the Firefly reunion on the ABC last season?
Xoxo Mark!

Dan Harmon talks about being fired from Community
July 10th, 2012 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Shortly after NBC picked up Community for another season, they fired the show creator Dan Harmon. Well even though he has talked about his ousting on Twitter, today he did a long interview on G4’s Attack of the Show and went into more detail about it. He joked about why he was fired, but you can tell he is just as upset about it now as us fans are too. He was the heart and soul of the show and without him it just won’t be the same.
Besides talking about his now-former show, he talked about which shows influenced him and the same ones inspired me. He also hinted what he wants to do next. Why do I have a feeling his next endeavor will be on FX? They are good with people who have been fired.

Eddie Munster and the new Munsters on Mockingbird Lane
July 10th, 2012 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

One of the most anticipated pilots of the season is Bryan Fuller’s Mockingbird Lane, a modern day version of The Munsters; and now we are getting the first pictures of the new Munsters. What is so fitting about these photos of Jerry O’Connell as Herman, Portia de Rossi as Lily and Mason Cook as Eddie, is that they were taken by the original Eddie. That’s right the man in the top two pictures is Butch Patrick who was the first little boy to play with Spot. Now he is all grown up and he got to visit the set before they wrapped production on the NBC pilot.
I respect Fuller for inviting the little Werewolf to his set, but I am not sure I want the show to get picked up after looking at these photos. Hopefully the actors are just in their costumes and either they took their makeup off or they haven’t applied it yet, because without that key factor they just look too normal to me. The Munsters are not supposed to look normal except for Marilyn, they need to look like Frankensteins, Werewolves and/or Vampires. If they are going to look like normal people, then maybe they need to move out of 1313 Mockingbird Lane.

Glenn Close talks about getting close to her first erection!!!
May 24th, 2012 under Glenn Close, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Glenn Close is on The Tonight Show tonight and she shared with Jay Leno that when she was younger she was very naive about sex. She told him how she went to a dance with a boy at her boarding school. Then she said that she kept feeling something in his pocket and wondered what it was. When she went back to her room she asked her roommates about it and they told her what it was. Then she acted out how she reacted when she found out what it was. I can’t even explain what she did, so you will have to watch what she does because it is classic.
BTW as we all saw in Fatal Attraction, she definitely knows about sex now.

A side of Howard Stern you have never seen before
May 22nd, 2012 under America's Got Talent, NBC. [ Comments: none ]

When Howard Stern took the job on America’s Got Talent, people expected that they were going to see the man they hear on the radio. Well yesterday when a seven year old rapper took the stage and got an X from the King of All Media and Sharon Osbourne we saw a side of him we have never seen before. As Stern tried to explain why he did it, the little boy started to cry. Instead of gloating about it like Piers Morgan did several times, he got up and hugged the kid until he stopped crying. In fact he was so upset about it, Stern said he can’t handle doing the show if that is what is going to happen. But it didn’t stop there when the producer asked if Mir Money should move on, Stern was the only one who said yes.
I like this side of Howard Stern and I hope we see more of it. So tune into NBC tonight at 8p to see the nicer side of Mr Nasty.
