On the last episode of Manifest, someone set a club with several 828ers on fire. Several people, including Olive’s boyfriend, TJ (Garrett Wareing), died in it. Tonight at 10p on NBC, Olive is dealing with his death.
She has shut down, and no one, including her dad, can get through to her. However, when Ben (Josh Dallas) gets a calling, only his daughter can help him solve the mystery. What will the find out?
They are not the only ones on a search of a mystery, so is Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh). She has just learned something shocking about her ex-boyfriend (J. R. Ramirez).
Her current boyfriend (Matt Long) just discovered something about himself that is a game-changer. How will he handle it?
This season of Manifest is so much better than the first one. They are focusing much more on the Sci-Fi aspect of it all, and that was is what they were missing last year.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A8FVtqBQUkE Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist is one of the most loveable shows on television. Tonight’s episode at 9p on NBC is a perfect example of why.
Zoey (Jane Levy) hears Mo (Alex Newell) sing The Great Pretender by The Platters. When she asks her confident neighbor why she was singing that tune, Mo tells her that her gift of hearing people’s thoughts through song is off.
Zoey thinks she might be right, but that gets proven wrong as soon as she gets to work. First, Zoey hears her friend, Max (Skylar Astin), sing a song that perfectly details that he finally sex with his new girlfriend. Then she hears her boss belt out something that proves she might not be handling her recent split from her husband as well as we thought.
While Zoey is hearing songs, her brother, David (Andrew Leeds), is hearing their dad (Peter Gallagher), who can no longer communicate because of an illness, cry uncontrollably. Andrew is going to be a dad, and both he and his dad realize that maybe Mitch will never see his grandchild be born. What will David do to make his dad be part of his baby’s life? Now, I am crying just thinking about it.
While David is with his dad, his mom (Mary Steenburgen) is helping Zoey’s crush Simon (John Clarence Stewart) plan his wedding. Awkward.
Not as awkward as when Zoey finds out what Mo is pretending to be. As soon as Mo discovers that Zoey knows Mo’s secret, Mo shuts her out. It is something that Alex Newell needs all of the applauds for because Alex’s performance is outstanding. Alex gave what the writers gave Alex to do and turned into something extremely heartfelt, emotional and powerful.
Back to Zoey. Since her next-door neighbor is not talking to her, she might have someone else she can talk to in the building. Bonnie is a shut-in, and Zoey hears her singing songs that you only hear at a bar in the Florida Keys like Margaritaville. Zoey is going to do everything in her to lure her out of her apartment. Will she be able to do it?
Can at least one of the people Zoey’s power is telling her to help finally benefit from it?
There are so many wonderful things about Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, I don’t know why you are not watching. There are great songs, excellent writing and storylines, amazing chemistry between the actors, and lots of emotions. There is one emotion you walk away with at the end of each episode and it is pure joy.
It is a Sunday night, football is over, so why not watch. There is nothing else on. I promise you will love it.
The Blacklist filmed its 150th episode today, and NBC had a little gift for them. The drama that stars James Spader will be back for an 8th season!
That was not the only show to get that news today. So You Think You Can Dance will waltz into their 17th season this summer. Cat Deely returns as the host, and the judges are Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Laurieann Gibson.
If you want to audition and you are between 18-30, then you can do so at one of these dates: Miami (March 19 and 20), New York (March 28 and 29) or Los Angeles (April 4 and 5). Can’t make it to one of those locations, then you can post your auditions here.
Last week on Manifest, the episode ended with the passengers from Flight 828 having a calling that their returned plane actually crashed. Not only that, but there were also a bunch of people they did not recognize along side them. Tonight at 10p on NBC, we find out what it was all about.
Olive (Luna Blaise) tells her dad she is still going to go to the church that believes Flight 828’s return is a miracle. Ben (Josh Dallas) believes they are putting their lives at risk. He might right because that calling has been revealed to them. Their lives are in danger, but do Ben and Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) have enough time to stop it before someone or many people get killed.
You won’t want to miss the show’s best episode since it’s pilot. The second season of the show has been so much better than the first one. Tonight’s episode delivers a nonstop rush that changes a lot of things for everyone.
When Good Girls ended its second season, Beth (Christina Hendricks) shot and killed crime boss Rio (Manny Montana) in front of FBI Agent Turner (James Lesure). Turner told her to run, and she did.
Tonight at 10p on NBC, it has been a few months after the shooting, and Beth, her sister, Annie (Mae Whitman), and Ruby (Retta) are ready to get back into the business of making money…illegally. They now have legitimate jobs, and their new occupations will help them get back into the biz. As with everything, Annie keeps screwing up, so Beth comes up with another way to get things done.
The fix cannot come soon enough because they all need money. No one more than Ruby. Her husband, Stanley (Reno Wilson), has a job that is making things awkward at home because it is the only one he can get after being arrested for the Good Girls’ crime. However, one of the people he works for taught me how perfect my gag reflex. Think you know what he does for a living now?
Anyways, the girls are finally ready to get back into action. What is the worst that can happen? Especially since Turner is back in the picture, and he is letting Beth know that he is still watching her.
Good Girls is a female-empowering show because it shows us that moms and housewives can still be bad. Plus, the chemistry between the three leads makes me wish I had friends like them. Who doesn’t need the money, even if it is counterfeit?
Good Girls is like Oceans 8, but much better and wittier.
