Alec Baldwin says kissing Jennifer Aniston was painful.
November 19th, 2008 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Alec Baldwin told NY Mag what he thought about kissing Jennifer Aniston and just like the ratings when she was on 30 Rock, it ain’t pretty.

“It was painful,” Baldwin sighed. “I mean, every man who’s had to make out with her in TV and movies — I don’t know how they do it.”

Do you think Alec Baldwin was joking? I have never known him to kid, he is always very serious in interviews…

Sacha Baron Cohen crashes NBC’s Medium

Bruno, played by Sacha Baron Cohen for his next stupid movie, crashed NBC’s Medium set according to Michael Ausiello.

On Nov 7, production on NBC’s Medium was temporarily shut down when an extra kept interrupting a tense courtroom scene involving series star Patricia Arquette. Security stepped in and forcibly removed the troublemaker from the jury box, and it’s only then that everyone’s sixth sense kicked in: The unruly actor was actually Sacha Baron Cohen in disguise as his latest Borat-like creation, flamboyant fashion reporter Bruno.
“No one had a clue it was Sacha playing Bruno,” whispers a Medium insider. “It’s amazing he was able to infiltrate the set and pull this off.”

He is such a loser. How would he like it if someone did that to his movie? I don’t get why everyone thinks he is so funny, maybe because I am girl I thought Borat was unfunny and have a feeling Bruno will be even worse. When is someone going to arrest him for crashing events and sets?
The only positive thing I can say is at least he is giving Medium (NBC just ordered 6 more episodes for the show) some well needed press.
BTW no word if Medium will make the Bruno movie…

NBC sees 6 more episodes of Medium in its future
November 15th, 2008 under NBC. [ Comments: 1 ]

NBC has ordered 6 more episodes of Medium to this season’s order according to The Live Feed! NBC has yet to announce a premiere date this season of the show, but I can’t wait until they do. I never understand why NBC has been holding Medium until the midseason for he last few seasons because the show has a cult following and always does well.

NBC cancels 2, Fox cancels 1, ABC cancels 1 and The CW picks up 1
November 12th, 2008 under ABC, NBC, The CW. [ Comments: 5 ]

NBC has cancelled Lipstick Jungle and My Own Worst Enemy, Fox has cancelled MadTV and The CW picks up Privileged for 5 more episodes according to The Live Feed.
Lipstick Jungle with Brooke Shields came back for its second season with weak ratings on Wednesdays, so when NBC moved it to Fridays the writing was on the wall for the show. I am sad to see this show go because it took me a while to get into it, but now I love it! My Own Worst Enemy gave Christian Slater a show, but even with his name and Heroes as a lead-in, it was not good enough to save the show.
Fox for some reason will pull the plug on MadTV at the end of the season, saying the show had become to expensive to keep on the network. The co-creator of the show says he is not ready to let the show go and will be shopping it around to the cable networks. Hopefully Comedy Central or FX will pick up the funnier of the two late-night Saturday shows.
But with all this bad news, there is some good news. The CW has asked Privileged for 5 more episodes!!! This is the best show of the season, and now is a good time to start watching this show!!! Please!!!
ABC and CBS have yet to announce the fate of their bubble shows, but when ABC does there are going to be a lot of p!ssed of fans. I am preparing myself for the news that Eli Stone and Pushing Daisies will be well Pushing Daisies.
With all the good shows getting the ax, it blows my mind that NBC picked up Life, Knight Rider and Kath & Kim and ABC is expected to Dirt Sexy Money and Life on Mars.
I will end this post with one of the best things that MadTV ever did Raging Rudolph!!!

UPDATE: According to TVWeek, ABC has decided to pick up any more episodes of Pushing Daisies.

Tina Fey’s daughter thinks she is Sarah Palin
October 29th, 2008 under NBC, Tina Fey. [ Comments: none ]

Tina Fey once again Conan O’Brien funny last night as she talked about Sarah Palin and 30 Rock. I love the story she tells about her 3 year old daughter being confused between Sarah Palin and her. How cute!
BTW for you 30 Rock fans, the show is back tomorrow on NBC at 930p.
