NBC announced a few weeks ago that they ER's series finale would air in March. Then last week there were reports that NBC ordered 3 more episodes from one of the only shows that is actually doing well on the network. And now today they announced that there will be three more episode of the show that has been on for 14 years and we will be saying goodbye with a two-hour finale on April 2nd. OK who else thinks that NBC is just going to wind up giving this show one more last season next year? I wouldn't mind if they kept show around, I still like it!
So remember when Brooke Shields told reporters that Lipstick Jungles wasn't dead and we all thought she was delusional? Well turns out she wasn't and NBC is still considering this show for the fall according to Stephanie Robbins! NBC announced today they are waiting to see what happens with pilot season before they make a final decsion on the show. I personally like this show, so I hope NBC brings it back! It is better than a lot of the other shows that are currently on their air.
“Momma’s Boys,” is a new dating series that centers on three possessive, yet loving mothers who must help their complacent sons choose the perfect woman — and ultimately poses the question: “Who is really the most important woman in every man’s life?”
Over the course of six weeks, viewers will watch the intense, emotional showdowns and rivalries, as well as the raw, personal moments between mother and son. All of this will unfold as 32 single women — some classy and some brassy — vie for the attention of the three eligible bachelors and their mothers who live with them throughout the series. “Momma’s Boys” will uncover the conflicts between a mother’s wishes and a son’s desires and reveal the truth about who plays a more crucial role in a young man’s life — his mother or his significant other.
Momma’s Boy is Ryan Seacrest’s first attempt of a reality show for dating. I wonder if Ryan’s mother was his inspiration for the show???
My favorite mom is the Jewish mother…oy! Oh and BTW at least 3 of the girls on the show have a Playboy or Penthouse past, can you guess which ones? Tune in to Momma’s Boys tonight on NBC at 10p and see if you can guess which and to watch a dating show like no other!!!

Jay Leno joked about his new 10p talk show that premieres in the fall on NBC tonight on his what will soon be his former show.
Good for NBC for trying something new, and for 5 less hours for my DVR and millions of other peoples DVR/Tivos to have record every week. With Leno taking over that time slot, and if NBC renews both Heroes and Medium that is all the primetime viewing for me to watch on the network. In fact with the 4 hours of talk show on NBC beginning at 10p it should come as no shock that the only talk show viewing I will be doing will be on ABC with Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Do you think NBC made the correct choice by killing 5 hours of their schedule and costing several actors, writers, producers, directors and people who once worked for NBC their jobs for Jay Leno’s show? It will be interesting to see if his show is a success, I say if it fails Jeff Zucker needs to finally go down with the ship that he sunk.
NBC announced their midseason lineup today and both Heroes and Medium will once again be paired together on Monday nights starting on February 2nd! Celebrity Apprentice is getting a two hour block on Sundays starting March 1st. I don't know if I can handle two hours in a row of Donald Trump's mystery hair. Knight Rider will be riding off into the sunset a little earlier than planned because they had their full season order cut from 22 to only 17. And one last note, ER will be saying goodbye on March 12th after 15 great years. I will miss the show.
ABC has set a return date for us all to enter the ballroom again on March 9th. Dancing with the Stars is changing things up and once again we will have two performance shows (week) before we say goodbye to the first star who will be stuck with that stigma for the rest of the career. Some more good news from ABC, Cupid is already in trouble. Guess the arrow through the heart needs a strong potion because they had their 13 episode order cut down to 9 according to The Live Feed. Not too late for ABC to cut their losses and pick up Eli Stone instead.
Showtime and Californication know the third time will be a charm, so that is why they picked up this show for a this season!
One final note…Nip/Tuck will be back on FX starting on January 6th and I just saw the season premiere and all I will say for now is…wow! Nip/Tuck is back, and boy is it back!!!
