NBC is changing up the 3 chimes that has been their sound since the start of the network according to Broadcasting & Cable. NBC will have several artists redo the chimes as they re-imagine them and we will hear how they destroy them starting around Thanksgiving?
Each artist will interpret the notes in their respective milieu. B.B. King will make give the notes a bluesy twang on his guitar. The B-52s will put a pop spin on them. At the shoot last week, T.I. conceived his own rap about NBC.
Seriously how is Ben Silverman still running NBC? All he does is destroy the network?
NBC, who is having a bad fall season, is changing things up for November sweeps. For some reason the network believes in Life and is trying to keep it alive by moving it from Fridays to Wednesdays at 9p according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show that has been doing crappy on Fridays will be sandwiched between Knight Rider and Law & Order. Life's move means that Lipstick Jungle is going to TV's graveyard night Fridays at 10p. Personally I wish NBC would move Lipstick Jungle to Fridays at 9p so it could kick The Ex List's a$$, not that that is hard to do.
BTW some more bad news, Heroes is going on hiatus in December to make room for Mommas Boys.
NBC is once again close to extending the life of ER. The Live Feed is reporting that NBC is so happy with their numbers this season that they are thinking of adding a few more episodes. As of now it is still the show show’s final season, but haven’t they said that before…
BTW am I the only one who is still watching the show?
When I heard about Kath & Kim, I thought this show was going to stink. I am not a fan of Molly Shannon and Selma Blair I can take in small increments. So when I had the chance to watch the pilot, I decided to see if it was going to be as bad as I thought.
I am shocked to say this, but it is better than I thought. I actually liked it and laughed out loud a few times!!! It is like a cheesy ’80 sitcom and you know what we don’t have enough of those.
So try Kath & Kim tonight on NBC at 8:30p, you might actually like it I did!!!
I have been watching ER since day one and I think that Dr Pratt’s (Mekhi Phifer) death was the saddest death since Dr Gant (Omar Epps) was hit by train 11 seasons ago. When they wheeled him through the ER in the gurney like that, I broke down in tears. That was an amazing way for all of us to say goodbye to one of the most memorable characters on the show.
If the final season of ER is going to be as a good as the first episode of the season I am sad to see it go.
