Less that a week after Jerry Springer announced that would not be back to host the 4th season of America's Got Talent, NBC announced that Mr Mariah Carey aka Nick Cannon will be filling his shoes according to Variety.
That is def an interesting choice to go with Judges Sharon Osbourne, Piers Morgan and David Hasselhoff. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
Personally I think he will do an OK job, but just not sure how well he will mesh with the others how are already on the show?
Jerry Springer announced today that he will not be back for the fourth season of America’s Got Talent. According to AP he said that because of previous commitments with his syndicated show and an unknown stage show, he will not have time for the show. I am truthfully going to miss his sincereness and the warmth he added to the show. In fact without him as the host and the decline of the show during last season, I am not sure I am going to be back.
He is the second host to leave the show, the first was Regis Philbin. The show also replaced Judge Brandy Norwood with Sharon Osbourne when she left after the first season. I think NBC should take that as a hint season 4 might not have been that good of an idea.
So remember the story about the stage manager that stole set props from Lipstick Jungle and put them up on eBay? Well Brooke Shields claims the he also stole her wallet according to Gatecrasher.
“[Arthur Moreira] is the same guy who stole my wallet out of my dressing room last season, right out of my purse!” Shields tells us. Last week, reports surfaced that Moreira took more than $30K worth of designer duds.
Says Shields: “He’s not very bright, because the purse was worth more than the wallet.”
Poor Brooke because that totally sucks, but I love her response to it.
NBC's Ben Silverman said that he is doing everything he can to save Lipstick Jungle and in fact he might do the same thing for the show that he did by sending Friday Night Lights to DirectTV for the fall according to Broadcasting & Cable. I think that Lipstick Jungle would do well on USA if it was paired with The Starter Wife! But if he is hoping the show will have the same success as Friday Night Lights, that is not a good sign. Sadly that great show is barely being seen now that is finally back on NBC.
And that makes me think what has a better chance coming back to NBC in the fall…Ben Silverman or Lipstick Jungle…I am going with Lipstick!!!
George Clooney is going home to ER once again before the show says goodbye according to ETonline!!! He will be filming scenes as Dr Doug Ross, the role that really launched his career, this week! It is unknown when his episode will air.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait to see back on the show!
