Mr. T is a legend, but how well do we know the muscular man with a big heart behind the Mohawk and gold chains?
We don’t. But thanks to Netflix, we will when his documentary, Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool, streams.
It is described as, “Before the gold chains, Mohawk, and Hollywood fame of The A-Team and Rocky III, there was Laurence Tureaud. This is the extraordinary origin story behind one of the most unlikely and beloved icons in entertainment – Mr. T. ”
Part of that origin story includes why Laurence Tureaud calls himself Mr. T, and the reasoning is a great tribute to the man who made him who he is.
The doc premieres on September 8th, and I pit the fool who does not watch it.
As we know, there is plenty of misinformation out there about the COVID-19 vaccine. There are people who say don’t get it. But they are wrong. It will help lessen the symptoms of COVID-19 and prevent you from getting really sick with it. I know people who have long COVID, and I want to avoid that like the plague. And COVID-19 is a plague.
Because so many people are hesitant to get it due to the lies, famous people are asking people to get the shot to protect themselves and others.
Today, Mr. T, who told us not to do drugs in the ’80s, is telling us to get the COVID booster and the flu shot. I grew up watching Mr. T, so when he tells me to do something, I am going to do it. And I pity the fool who doesn’t.
Charo shared a photo of herself wrapped around Mr T, so do the two TV icons have something to tell us? Yes, just not what I am hoping for. The senior citizens (can you believe they are both over 65?) want you to watch them on the Dancing with the Stars finale tomorrow. I was hoping for something more!
I still can’t believe that ABC hasn’t given them a show already. Could you imagine how amazing I Cuchi Cuchi the Fool would be? It would be the best thing to hit the airwaves since Flavor Flav and Brigitte Nielsen’s Strange Love. In fact, it would be better because who doesn’t love Charo and Mr T. I am already excited for the jewelry shopping episode. Would you watch it?
While almost every celebrity on Dancing with the Stars keeps the money they earn for themselves, Mr T told Conan O’Brien that he is donating all of his earnings to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
He is not dancing for himself, he is dancing for the sick children, so that they can become healthy adults. In fact, he says if he wins, he will shave off his iconic Mohawk in honor of those kids who lose their hair to treatments. That is dedication.
While he might not be the best dancer on the dance floor, he has the biggest heart on it. To me that gets a perfect score every week over dance steps.
Therefore, we must vote Mr T because we know his salary is going to a good cause and not his pocket or in his case gold chains.
ABC announced today on Good Morning America who will be on Dancing with Stars this season and I am rooting for Mr T and Charo to win it all. In fact, I hope ABC will watch them and think we need to give them a sitcom together. I Coochie the Fool!
Anyways, after it was announced that A-Team’s lead man was going to be on the Dancing competition show, he took to Twitter. He said, “Between me and you, I really can’t dance! But I will do my very best for the children @shrinershosp and @StJude. But make no mistake about it Fool! I will train and will practice real hard. Even when I am tired and sore, I’ll keep rehearsing! Grrr! Now, if I just happen to win, I will cutoff my Mohawk to stand in solidarity with the children who are fighting cancer! GOD bless them! But if we don’t win, what a Pity! It won’t be because I didn’t try hard! Oh no…, ’cause I’m gonna bring it everyday Fool!” That is enough to make me vote for him every week because I want to see what he would look like without it.
