BTWF: Mike Myers for Wrigley’s Gum
April 27th, 2026 under Before They Were Famous, Mike Myers. [ Comments: none ]

Before Mike Myers was chewing scenery, he was chewing Wrigley’s “big stick” gum! How cute was the 8-year-old in that 1971 commercial?

Mike Myers has a point
April 27th, 2026 under Mike Myers. [ Comments: none ]

Mike Myers has been acting for over 50 years, yet he has never made a movie in the genre he was born to be in.

What is it? During the premiere of Michael (which is not about him), he told a person from Lionsgate Horror, “I have never done a Horror movie, and my name is Michael Myers. So it is a little weird, thus far, I avoided it.”

Has the actor not seen The Love Guru or The Gong Show, when he hosted it?

Seriously, this needs to happen. They can reboot the Halloween franchise with Michael Myers vs Michael Myers. Austin Powers kind of looks like he is wearing the William Shatner mask that the serial killer has been wearing for 47 years.

Hey, Lionsgate, if you are not going to make it happen, another production company is willing to give him a killer offer. Blumhouse wrote, “Have his people call our people.”

I wonder if the Wayans Brothers can fit him into Scary Movie 6. They can finally reveal who is under Halloween’s Michael Myers mask, and it turns out to be Mike Myers. How funny would that be?

Shrek 5 is officially happening
July 9th, 2024 under Cameron Diaz, Eddie Murphy, Mike Myers. [ Comments: none ]

I remember hearing recently that Eddie Murphy said that he started voicing Donkey for Shrek 5. Today, DreamWorks Animation confirmed it is reality and not just a fairytale. They wrote, “Not too Far, Far Away…@Shrek 5 is coming to theaters on July 1, 2026 with Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz.”

Am I the only one who didn’t know there was a Shrek 3 and Shrek 4? So, it makes you wonder do we really need another sequel.

Mike Myers will play 8 characters in The Pentaverate
April 28th, 2022 under Mike Myers, Netflix. [ Comments: none ]

On May 5th, Mike Myers is back doing what he does best, and that is playing several different roles in one series. Since it has been a long time since he did that, he is going to be making up for lost time in The Pentaverate. The actor will play not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, not six, not seven, but eight new characters in the Netflix comedy.

They are:
Ken Scarborough: An old-school Canadian news journalist who sets out to expose the Pentaverate and win his job back
Anthony Lansdowne: A New England conspiracy theorist, determined to expose the Pentaverate
Rex Smith: A far-right radio host and highly prominent conspiracy theorist
Lord Lordington: The Pentaverate’s oldest and highest-ranking member.
Bruce Baldwin: Former media mogul
Mishu Ivanov: Ex-Russian oligarch
Shep Gordon: Former Rock-N-Roll manager
Jason Eccleston: A tech genius who invented the Pentaverate’s supercomputer, MENTOR

Since it is not a one-man show, he will be joined by Rob Lowe, Jennifer Saunders, Ken Jeong, Keegan Michael-Key, and Debi Mazar throughout the six 30-minute episodes.

It might not be the fourth installment of Austin Powers, but it is a much-needed hold-over until then.

Yeah, baby. We got our baby back, baby back, baby back ribs. Sorry, I had to do it.
