McDonald’s makes a dynamite meal with BTS |

McDonald’s has teamed up with BTS to release a meal in honor of the K-Pop band. Their happy meal includes 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, medium World Famous Fries, medium Coke, and Sweet Chili and Cajun dipping sauces that are popular in South Korea.
“BTS truly lights up the world stage, uniting people across the globe through their music,” said Morgan Flatley, Chief Marketing Officer, McDonald’s USA. “We’re excited to bring customers even closer to their beloved band in a way only McDonald’s can – through our delicious food – when we introduce the BTS signature order on our menu next month.”
Whether you are a member of the BTS Army or not, this sounds like the perfect meal for the summer. Good thing it comes out on May 26th.

DNCE’s Cake by the Ocean is so popular on Spotify that it has had over 1 billion plays on the streaming music service. In honor of that, they sent Joe Jonas a platinum record.
What did he do with it? He ate McDonald’s off it. I guess it is not as classy as a gold record from the label.
Since I have to say something cheesy, I will add that this gives new meaning to “Let them eat cake.” Hey, you can’t have your cake and eat it too.

Back in 2017, McDonald’s removed Hi-C from their soda fountains. Ever since then, people have been asking the fast food giant to bring it back.
Today, they finally got the news they have been waiting for, for almost three years. In the next few months, the orange soda will be back in all of their stores. That’s right! It is back.
Since we can’t give each other high-5’s anymore, let’s give each other Hi-C’s in honor of the news.

Oreo responds to McDonald’s Spam hamburger topped with Oreo cookies |

McDonald’s in China announced that they have a new item on their menu, and it is a Spam burger topped with Oreo cookies.
As soon as I saw it, I lost my appetite. While that is me, how did Oreo react to it? “This is pure chaos and we’re here for it 👏👏,” the cookie company tweeted.
Hopefully, not so much so that they release a Spam-flavored Oreo. It cannot be any worse than the Sweedish Fish or Peeps filled Oreo, or can it be? I hope we never find out.

Back in 1996, Aly Sherb’s grandmother bought a McDonald’s hamburger and fries, and put it in a shoebox in her closet. Aly wanted to see it, so her grandmother showed it to us. It looks almost the same now as it did on the day she bought it. How scary is that?
Part of me wants to buy one and do the same thing. Then the other part of me is really craving one. What about you?
I saw this story because Jason Alexander responded to it. Back in 1985, he did a commercial for them, so he said, “Has to be one of the MCDLT’s we used in the commercial. Keeps the hot, hot. Keeps the cool, cool. I’m sensing a comeback.” I hope they bring it back and have him recreate the advertisement.
