Luke Evans is starring as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show on Broadway. Besides showing us his behind, he showed a behind-the-scenes costume change.
When the Sweet Transvestite kills Eddie with a chainsaw, his white nursing costume gets bloodied. But how do you show that on stage? You don’t.
Therefore, there is a secret room just off the side of the stage with people waiting to assist him in a very quick costume change. And the audience is none the wiser!
I always wondered how they did that, and now I know, as do you.
So today we are a little smarter and don’t have to learn anything else for the day! So, let’s do the Time Warp until we drop.
Luke Evans turned 41 today, and just like many April babies, he is spending it alone. Unlike me, he spent it on the beach with just a happy birthday balloon. As a gift to us, he gave us this terribly sad photo that is the picture equivalent of Eric Carmen’s song All By Myself.
Don’t feel sorry for him. He wrote, “Happy Birthday to me!!! Thank you for all the lovely birthday wishes. Very kind!! This is one I won’t forget. 🖤” Isn’t that what B-days are all about, being unforgettable? Granted in 2020, that takes on a whole new meaning.
Luke Evans shared a photo of himself sleeping with a stuffed monkey and he never looked hotter. Proving that the actor, who plays Gaston, looks like a beauty in bed and not a beast. I know I would sleep with him after seeing this photo of him. Wouldn’t you?
It has been a long time since James Corden has done a Crosswalk the Musical on The Late Late Show and yesterday he was back working the street with several actors. This time there were a few famous actors with him as he paid tribute to a movie that is based on a Broadway Musical that is based on animated movie. That movie is Beauty and the Beast and the actors are Dan Stevens, Luke Evans and Josh Gad. All three of them recreated their roles from the film that is out tomorrow. While the CBS late night host was the Belle of the ball.
Since they knew the songs, the rehearsal wasn’t long and they were ready to go. In between green lights they sang songs like Be Our Guest, Gaston and Beauty and the Beast. The people in their cars didn’t know what hit them, but they enjoyed the free show. Even more than we did and we loved it!
