On the big screen, Jonathan Bailey dances with Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo at Shiz University in Wicked. However, on the small screen, he does it with Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street. And now I am dancing with the trio!
Thank you, Netflix, for saving the educational children’s show, so that we could have more special moments like this! Because they bring smiles to the faces of kids, young and old.
Ariana Grande wanted to keep a part of Jonathan Bailey with her forever, so she stole his thumb from Wicked: For Good.
What? Before you read any further, there will be a spoiler if you have not seen the stage version of Wicked.
Bailey is transformed into the Scarecrow, and he had to wear a burlap suit for the transformation. He kept parts of his costume, but his co-star stole another part of it.
He told Access Hollywood’s guest correspondent Emily Orozco, “I know that Ari’s got my thumb…Because I fell over in a camera test, exploring the physicality, and my thumb split…she put it in her pocket. And I didn’t realize, but she carries my thumb around.”
What does he think she does with it? It makes her victorious when she tries to hail cabs in NYC!
I wish I had known this before I saw the movie, because I would have looked out to see if his thumb was missing when you saw the Scarecrow’s hand. Oh well, I guess I will just have to see the spectacular film again!!!

The reveal was made on The Tonight Show yesterday, and Bailey, who is the first openly out man to hold the title, told Jimmy Fallon, “I’m so thrilled that People Magazine have invited someone in and bestowed this honor on someone who can really cherish the value of a sexy man.”
And we cherish that it is someone who is not only sexy but also humble. He could not stop giggling and blushing during his appearance on the late night talk show.
Another reason why he is the perfect choice is that he lovingly shares the second cover with his dog, Benson. What is sexier than a man who loves his animals? Nothing!
