The Simpsons turns 600 on Sunday and Homer Simpson did some press for the milestone. Yesterday, while Jimmy Kimmel was doing his monologue, his stage started to shake. Turns out it was Homer Simpson banging on his TV that caused it. The patriarch banged on it so hard that the ABC late night host found himself Springfield. Once he was there, we all got a one of a kind tour of our favorite town that we don’t where it is in the USA. A tour so cool even Bart Simpson would exclaim, “Cowabunga Dude!”

Most people were utterly offended when they heard Donald Trump talk to Billy Bush about forcing himself on women because he is a celebrity back in 2005. Jimmy Kimmel Live wanted to soften the blow, so they replaced the video with a scene from The Flintstones. Not only is my adulthood ruined, so it my childhood.
What did Fred and Barney ever do to the people on the ABC late night show to make them do that?
Almost every night since Jimmy Kimmel Live started, the late night host apologizes to Matt Damon because he ran out of time and can’t have him on the show that night or any night. For the last 13 years, we have wondered if Jason Bourne is really there waiting to go on. Last night we got that answer and it is yes.
When Idina Menzel nervously told the Kimmel that she has a crush on his arch nemesis and feared that he hated her in Wicked, the ABC talk show went live from his dressing room, where he has been housed for over a decade, to get the facts straight. Just as Damon was giving his side of the story, Kimmel informed him they ran out of time.
Maybe tomorrow, we will learn more. That is unless they run out of time for him yet again.

Sarah Jessica Parker was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and she talked about making the pilot for Sex and the City.
Parker was always working at the time, and she wanted to stay that way. When she was offered the role of Carrie Bradshaw, she shot the pilot for the then male centric HBO and forgot about it. Then one day, she got a call from the network telling her that they were picking up the show to series. She didn’t know if she still wanted to do it, until several people convinced her to do it.
She went to the set on Day One and never looked back. She loved the experience that truly made her star.
Imagine if she turned it down, Lisa Edelstein would’ve probably gotten the role that was technically hers.
Lupita Nyong’o was on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and her name is not the easiest one to spell. The ABC late night show thought it would be interesting to see if people on the street outside their studio would be able to spell her name correctly with the apostrophe. To entice them, they offered them money. It started out with $5 and they doubled it every time someone got it wrong. Eventually, someone got it right, but how much did it cost the show. Answer, a lot of money, so watch to see the show go for broke and succeed.
At least they are still making money over Mean Tweets, so there’s that. Here are Hugh Grant, Zac Efron, Ryan Gosling, Kiefer Sutherland and many more read the nasty things people say about them on Twitter.
