We hours away from the release of Frozen 2, but the cast cannot let go of the first one. Yesterday on The Late Late Show, James Corden joined them as they performed the musical’s biggest numbers on the crosswalk outside of the host’s CBS studios.
How cool is it to see Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff perform their songs live and in their costumes? I wish I was driving on Beverly when Elsa sang her showstopper.
Way before Josh Gad worked with Idina Menzel in Frozen, he became obsessed with the actress after seeing her in Rent and then Wicked. So much so, he demonstrated his best impression of her on The Late Late Show yesterday for James Corden and Perfect Harmony’s Anna Camp.
The snowman was defying something with his take on his co-star, but it was not gravity. I think he needs to let it go because there are only two Idina Menzels in the world. One is the Broadway actress and the other one is Lea Michele.
I don’t know about you, but whenever I notice it is 11:11, I make a wish. Ron Funches and his girlfriend are like me and do the same thing. They also say “I love you” when they see all four ones together on a clock.
Therefore, he decided to propose to his girlfriend on November 11th at 11:11. The only problem is that he told James Corden on The Late Late Show yesterday that he missed the AM one. Therefore, he made sure to not miss the PM one.
Thus, around 11:11p on 11/11, he was ready. However, she was sleeping, so he woke her up. She did not realize what he asked her at first, but then she said yes.
Since she did not even look at the ring, he feels he spent too much money on it. I am sure the next day, she could not stop looking at it.
They have not set a date, but I think they should do it on 11/11/20 at 11:11a.
When you think of Jason Momoa, you think of him as a manly man. When you think of James Corden, you do not. What happens when this odd couple spends 2 hours together doing whatever Aquaman wants? A lot of laughs and an arrow to the head William Tell style.
The actor showed up to get the Late Late Show host at CBS studios and take him to their first destination. Since it is the action star, they have to travel in style on a hog. Corden being Corden, he wound up being his new friend’s side piece.
Then they got to an area where Momoa got to show off his arrow skills. What better way to do it than to recreate the William Tell moment while wearing a blindfold. How did things go? The good news is Mr. Lisa Bonet got the apple.
Finally, it was time for Momoa to teach Corden how to use a whip. Even an S&M artist could do a better job on their first try.
After all of that, the last manly thing that Corden did could not be shown on broadcast television. Let’s just say, don’t be surprised if he becomes a dad again in 9 months.
James Corden hung out with Ed Norton and the CBS late night host wanted to live out a dream. He wanted to know what it was like to be in Fight Club. Therefore yesterday on The Late Late Show, Corden took Norton to a fight club like place and wanted to fight. There was one problem, the star did not want to do it.
Thus the Cats star started bashing his guest’s movies, hoping that would rile him up. Eventually, Norton went all The Narrator and punched Corden. There was no fight. Just two hits, the actor hitting the host and the host hitting the floor. Living out a dream for other people.
