Allison Janney goes all Tonya Harding’s mom on James Corden!
April 24th, 2018 under Christina Aguilera, Chuck Lorre, James Corden. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday, James Corden had a primetime special on CBS and they asked him to include some of the network’s biggest names on it. He had Allison Janney and Anna Faris from Mom, Kunal Nayyar from The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon aka Iain Armitage on the special. So, of course, he did because what other alternative did he have.

Therefore, he invited them all to take part in one of his Crosswalk the Musicals. This time they did The Sound of Music. The only problem is Janney wanted to be Maria and so did The Late Late Show host. Who would win out? Since looks can kill, Janney got the part. Or at least she thought she did. The real winners were all of those people in their cars that witnessed the amazing live production of the beloved show.

It was not only about Crosswalk the Musical on the special, they also had a Carpool Karaoke. This time it was Christina Aguilera who was sitting in the passenger’s seat. What did we learn? That she really can sing without any help from technicians making her sound better. That and that Ryan Gosling on a crush on Britney Spears who had a crush on Justin Timberlake during the Mickey Mouse Club days.

The only thing scarier than a Sharknado is a Shaqnado
April 19th, 2018 under James Corden, Shaquille O'Neal, The Beckhams. [ Comments: none ]

If you thought that sharks flying around in a tornado was pretty terrifying, it is the calm before the Shaqnado storm. That’s right thousands of Shaqs are swirling around in tornadoes and there is only one thing that can save us. Two things actually, Posh Spice and James Corden. Gd help us because we are going to need it.

Why? Because there is one thing that Victoria Beckham is worse at than singing, and that is acting. Which is the opposite of what the adult entertainment stars I used to see at Porn Star Karoake were bad at.

The thing James Corden’s employees do to avoid him
April 12th, 2018 under James Corden. [ Comments: none ]

While most talk show employees like to hang out with their boss, that is not the case for the people who work at The Late Late Show. In order for them to avoid James Corden, the workers do what they do in A Quiet Place. Translation they do everything in silence. The second one of them makes the slightest sound, in comes the CBS host and that is when the real horror starts for them. A job is a job, but this one seems scarier than most. Way scarier. I would scream, but I am afraid Corden would show up. That would be a nightmare come true according to this video.

BTW if you go to see A Quiet Place, make sure not to talk, chomp on nachos and slurp a Slushee during the whole movie. I had so much popcorn thrown at me, I had a tub full by the end credits. Oh wait, maybe you should do all of that if you don’t want to waste money on snacks.

We are another step closer to a Mad About You revival
March 30th, 2018 under Helen Hunt, James Corden, Paul Reiser. [ Comments: none ]

Back in December, Paul Reiser said he was interested in a Mad About You Reunion. Yesterday when his TV wife Helen Hunt was on The Late Late Show, she told James Corden that she is also up for it.

But it gets even better than that, she revealed to the CBS host that she and Reiser had breakfast earlier in the day at her house to talk about it. They just don’t want it to “suck”. Then she shared with us, “We would like to do it. Although, we felt very proud of what we did. We just don’t want to wreck it and make it sucky. That’s the goal.”

And with that confirmation, NBC is probably calling them as you read this and offering them a 10-episode deal. Soon it will be nothing but our childhood’s on TV. You know what, I am OK with that. Very OK with that!

Is this Will Forte’s finest work?
March 25th, 2018 under James Corden, Will Forte. [ Comments: none ]

Some people might say MacGruber is Will Forte’s finest work, others will say it is The Last Man on Earth, while I will say it is The Brothers Solomon. When it comes to Will Forte, he told James Corden on The Late Late Show that it is a part he won at an auction for A Call to Men. What is that role? He is playing Handcuffed Guest at a Wedding on Lethal Weapon. How did he do? He better get another Emmy nomination for it, if not the win!

Until that episode airs, we will just have to watch him on The Last Man on Earth tonight and every Sunday at 9:30p on Fox. If you are not watching, then you are missing a show that has the best death scenes on TV. What more do I have to tell you to watch?
