Variety is reporting that CBS has picked up How I Met Your Mother and Ghost Whisperer!!! But I lost The Class, Jericho and Close to Home! Yay I am proud that the old timers at CBS saw through their thick bifocal glasses and renewed a show that attracts younger viewers and one they don't get. I am also happy that they renewed Ghost Whisperer because it is a feel good family show that makes you cry and knows how to incorporate the net with the show!
I am so pIssed at them for cancelling Jericho, the show ended in an Angel like cliffhanger. It literally ended with Jericho and New Bern going to war and the first shots were being fired when credits came on the screen. So us loyal viewers are left in the lurch not knowing what was going to happen because that was going to be told in the second season. I just knew it was a goner, but that season (series) finale really made me want to know what happened. Hopefully the producers will post something and let us know. Both The Class and Close Home grew on me and sadly both of those shows are gone too.
Why do I continue to watch CBS when they keep canceling what I watch on their network. Dang you CBS! I am still not over them canceling Early Edition, can't you tell.
Tonight is the season and hopefully not series finale of How I Met Your Mother. I hate to say it, but the ending of tonight’s show can also act as a series finale if the evil Les Moonves cancels it. (I will call him that because I think almost all the shows I watch on CBS might be canceled. ie HIMYM, Jericho and Close To Home. Although there are rumors CTH might be a midseason replacement.) But back to tonight’s show…Ted and Robin have a secret and Barney is trying to figure it out what it is. In typical HIMYM fashion Robin and Ted tell the story in hysterical flashbacks. There are plenty of possibilities about what it is, but even I did not get it until they said what it is. Do you think you know the secret?
And BTW Lily and Marshall have not been able to eat throughout the whole wedding, so the whole episode is about them trying to find something to eat.
Sadly the season ends without Barney getting at least a third slap or another song from Robin Sparkles, hopefully that is something we can see that next season. You hear that Les Moonves!!!
Tonight is the first part of the season (hopefully not series) finale of How I Met Your Mother on CBS at 8p. In this episode Marshall and Lily finally get married and of course nothing goes right. Even though everything goes wrong, wait until you see how the two actually get married. It is so sweet and romantic and funny! But then again when is How I Met Your Mother ever not funny?
Tonight on How I Met Your Mother Barney gets the chance to Come On Down on The Price Is Right with Bob Barker. But why would Barney want to go on The Price Is Right? Tune in to How I Met Your Mother on CBS tonight at 8p. I hear this episode is hysterical, but what else is new with this show…it always funny as all heck!!!
BTW I saw the two-part season (please CBS) finale of the show which includes Lily and Marshall's wedding and I can tell you it is awesome. But the only thing that worries me is that it kind of feels like it could also be a series finale if need be.
