Well tonight at 8p is your chance for you to catch it on CBS!!! Now as much I love that song and that video that was not the best part of the episode. The best part was the slap bet! Although most of the slap bet is in the below video, it is still better to see how it is played out on How I Met Your Mother…so tune into tonight at 8p! And I promise you will be slap betting yourself happy!!! Gives new meaning to slapstick humor!!!

Now as many of you know, How I Met Your Mother is a bubble show. Which means CBS might not pick it up next year, and that is something I don’t want to happen. So in honor of such great campaigns like sending locks of hair to save Felicity, Tabasco bottles for Roswell, water bottles for Invasion and the Ferris Wheel for Everwood, I think I have an idea on how we can save How I Met Your Mother. In honor of Robin Sparkles, I say let’s send Les Moonves letters full of loose glitter. You know how annoying it is when you get an invitation full of glitter well imagine how irritating it will be to get a whole bunch of letters with glitter in them!!! So who wants to do this with me???

Neil Patrick Harris has a sit down with Ellen Degeneres on Thursday and tells how he was forced out according to People. He tells her, "this sort of witch-hunt brewing" He explains toher how it started, "There was a little of media scrutiny heading my way,. People were starting to ask for stories of other people that may have fooled around with me, and the last thing you want to do is talk about your private life based on scandal. I'm not a very scandalous person and so I didn't want to have to respond to some story, whether it was lie or truth – so I just made a statement and sort squashed the fires. I am happy to dispel any rumors or misconceptions and am quite proud to say that I am a very content gay man living my life to the fullest. My life had been relatively open in my world. I've been dating the same guy for three years and our families know. We go out together all the time but I just feel like as an actor part of your occupation is retaining a bit of mystery so you can be believable in many different types of roles, so I never felt it was an obligation for me to hold pinkies down the red carpet or anything." So how does he feel about these forced outings, "If someone doesn't want to talk about stuff or if someone has reason that they don't want to, I don't think they need to be criticized and chastised necessarily for that," he says, "unless they're blatantly lying about things. I'm not such a fan of pushing, pushing people to make decisions." Although he was forced out, he is OK with the circumstances."For me that is the greatest ending to the story so far – that nothing really has changed at all," he says. "I'm doing nothing different and people aren't behaving differently towards me. … People heard and they're like yeah, and? That attitude, I think, was great." I still remember when he was forced out and I think it was disgusting how far Perez Hilton went to out him. I think if someone wants to come out it should be of their own accord.
When Barney hears that Ted is planning Marshall ’s bachelor party, the ‘Barnacle’ feels the need to add his two cents, on “HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER†tonight at 8p!!!
Tonight after the show HIMYM will have exclusive uncut video of the bachelor party on HIMYM’s MySpace according to The NY Times! And if it is anything like the extended clip of Barney Top Ten Names for the bachelor van, I can’t wait!!!
As many of you know this is one of my favorite shows! Last year when I was asked what show I thought would make it to syndication, I said either HIMYM or Everybody Hates Chris. Well Chris got picked up for a third season which means if The CW lets it finish the year it should be eligible for syndication. But sadly HIMYM is a bubble show, which means Les Moonves has not guaranteed he will pick up this gem because I think he is just too old to get it. While Watch With Kristin is doing her Save One Show, I think that show will go to either Veronica Mars or last year’s winner One Tree Hill. So we need to let CBS know How I Met Your Mother deserves to be back next year, but I just haven’t figured out how to do that. If you have ideas, I would welcome them!
Although I am nervous that the show might not be back next season, show creator Carter Bays was more optimistic than me in this TV Guide interview all about HIMYM! Which is fine with me! Because if HIMYM gets picked up then I go full steam ahead to save Jericho! Who would’ve thought that CBS would have the two shows I would want to save most?
We need a sweet, sentimental, most likely acoustic song, that sums up how much Marshall and Lily love each other. It will be played over the final shot of the second to last season two episode of How I Met Your Mother. Something in the vein of Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Ray LaMontagne, or early Tom Waits. We look forward to hearing what you've got, so send us your Myspace band profiles.
I Watch Stuff! is saying that Cobie Smulders from How I Met Your Mother was offered the role of Wonder Woman. Several young actresses have been rumored for the role in the movie like Mischa Barton and Katharine McPhee but looks like Cobie is the winner. But until they officially announce it we have to take it for what it is and hope she gets it. Wonder Woman just went through a major change when Joss Whedon dropped out so maybe now they are finally moving full steam ahead with the movie.
I know you can’t really tell from the music video, but Cobie really looks the role and has the acting chops to back it up! Go Cobie!!!
