Tonight is the season and hopefully not series finale of
How I Met Your Mother. I hate to say it, but the ending of tonight’s show can also act as a series finale if the evil Les Moonves cancels it. (I will call him that because I think almost all the shows I watch on CBS might be canceled. ie HIMYM, Jericho and Close To Home. Although there are rumors CTH might be a midseason replacement.) But back to tonight’s show…Ted and Robin have a secret and Barney is trying to figure it out what it is. In typical HIMYM fashion Robin and Ted tell the story in hysterical flashbacks. There are plenty of possibilities about what it is, but even I did not get it until they said what it is. Do you think you know the secret?
And BTW Lily and Marshall have not been able to eat throughout the whole wedding, so the whole episode is about them trying to find something to eat.
Sadly the season ends without Barney getting at least a third slap or another song from Robin Sparkles, hopefully that is something we can see that next season. You hear that Les Moonves!!!
