When you get French Fries on the go, do you prefer to dip them into a condiment over just covering them with the sauce?
Well, Heinz heard you, and they came up with a fry box that comes with a pull-out compartment for ketchup.
“After spotlighting the uncanny resemblance between fry boxes and our iconic HEINZ Keystone globally, we wanted to take the next bold step: redesigning the age-old fry box to work even harder for our HEINZ lovers everywhere,” says Nina Patel, Vice President, Global Heinz Brand at the Kraft Heinz Company. “As more eating occasions happen away from home in drive-thrus and on-the-go moments, the HEINZ Dipper is a fun and relevant way to innovate to meet fans where they are and strengthen our role in their everyday lives.”
As of today, the Heinz Dipper is only available in 11 countries, including six US cities. To see where, click here.
Hopefully, this is just the launch phase, and they will expand with demand because I am a dipper who needs this!
Let’s be honest, after Thanksgiving, we are left with lots of leftovers. Because of that, we spend the following week coming up with creative ways of eating all of that turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, and so on. And we have places to store all of those things.
However, there is one thing that is not easy to store. What is it? Gravy!
Well, during Thanksgivings past, that was the case. Not anymore. Heinz has released the first-ever squeezable bottle for HEINZ Homestyle Turkey Gravy.
“While HEINZ Gravy has always been a fan favorite on the Thanksgiving table, we decided to focus our attention on the day after ritual—because we all know leftovers are the best part and our unmistakably rich and smooth gravy makes them that much better,” said Jamie Mack, Associate Director of Brand Communications for HEINZ U.S. “A social media favorite among millennial sitcom-lovers, the Moist Maker epitomized an obsession with holiday food crafted with care and detail. Now, HEINZ is celebrating the fans who share an irrational love of the nostalgic sandwich by providing the key to a delicious day-after sandwich: HEINZ Leftover Gravy.”
The limited-edition HEINZ Leftover Gravy Kit, which includes a squeezable bottle and a 12-ounce jar of gravy, is available at Walmart.com for $1.88. You read that right!
For centuries, people have pondered whether a tomato is a fruit or a vegetable. And we still don’t know.
So, if it is a fruit, then why can’t we put it in smoothies? Well, we can. Actually, we don’t have to make it ourselves. Heinz Ketchup and Smoothie King have teamed up for The Heinz Tomato Ketchup Smoothie. The ice cold drink is ketchup mixed in with Acai sorbet, crisp apple juice, juicy strawberries, and tart raspberries.
“When we saw this cultural debate start gaining traction, we knew we had to weigh in with a resounding yes!” says Angie Madigan, Vice President of Elevation Marketing at Kraft Heinz. “The idea of a ketchup smoothie is provocative, and our top priority was landing a delicious tasting fruit smoothie with distinct yet well-balanced ketchup notes. The experts at Smoothie King helped make this dream a reality, and we’re absolutely thrilled with the final smoothie we created together. And like it does for any food – from burgers to fries to eggs – the slightly sweet and tangy taste of HEINZ Ketchup elevates this traditional fruit smoothie to new heights.”
The smoothie is available now for a limited time. If you try it, let me know how it is.
Have you ever said to yourself, “Do I want a donut or a bagel,” and you couldn’t figure out which one to choose? Well, Philadelphia Cream Cheese has made it so that we don’t have to decide.
They have created the Bonut. It is the first-ever bagel donut featuring the brand’s newest cream cheese flavours on top of an uncut bagel. Those two new flavors are pineapple and blueberry.
“For over 150 years, our goal at Philadelphia has been to bring fans new and exciting experiences to elevate their everyday food occasions,” said Brian Neumann, Head of Brand & Creativity at Kraft Heinz Canada. “With flavoured cream cheese driving category growth and flavour being cited as our fans’ number one purchase driver3, we are excited to bring these new sweet products to our portfolio and share how they can elevate your bagel from boring to Bonut.”
Sadly, the Bonut will only be available on June 6th at these two restaurants: College Street Bagels in Toronto and Fairmont Bagel in Montreal. However, those cream cheese flavors are not going anywhere.
I thought that Heinz would never be able to top themselves when they decided to team up with ketchup-loving Ed Sheeran.
They still haven’t, but they have come close. That is because the condiment producer reached out to Mustard, the music producer, to see if he would want to collaborate with them. And he said, “Yes!”
“This collab coming to life is a big deal and something that has been decades in the making for me,” says Mustard. “Everyone knows me for my beats and sound, but what they don’t know is that cooking and grilling is a huge part of my life. I’m on the grill every chance I get. I’ve been using HEINZ since I was a kid, so partnering with them is something I’ve always wanted to do.”
Mustard, whose real name is Dijon, has been named Hainz’s Chief Mustard Officer. Coming this summer, he will release his mustard flavor for us to enjoy. Throughout the year, he will be hosting several events to promote his new job.
Hopefully, one of them will be with Sheeran because they go together like ketchup and mustard.
