We are just days away from the network Upfronts, where we will find out which pilots will become shows! But we don’t have to wait until to Monday to find out if Fox picked up Absolutely Fabulous for the fall, thanks to Nikki Finke we are finding out that the pilot that never should’ve been won’t go any further than that!!! Seriously what was Fox thinking in the first place by trying to Americanize the brilliant British show? Thankfully the Grim Reaper got this show… On that note, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that The CW’s Reaper which seemed like a sure bet to be sent back to hell might actually live on for a third season. I watch this show (in fact I am watching it as I type) and even I was OK with the devil collecting this show’s soul. Maybe someone close to the show really did sell their soul to the devil because this show was lucky to see a second season let alone a third.
Fox is not be renewing Talk Show With Spike Feresten for next season according to Broadcasting & Cable. Although I have to admit that I never watched the show, every now and again I would see one of the brilliant things they did on the show on the net. For example The Curious Case of Forest Gump that was so brilliant that to this day, I have not bothered to see Benjamin Button because I felt I already saw Forest Gump. Hopefully Spike will land a new deal and he will be back on TV soon. This time, I will make sure to watch him!
Fox just announced via Twitter that the teens have spoken and the Jonas Brothers will be hosting the Teen Choice Awards on August 10th. Well Fox made the decision, but you know the teens are going to love watching the three brothers try their hand at hosting the show. I don’t know about, but maybe because I hit puberty, I just don’t get them. Can someone please explain to me why they are as big as they are?
Mike Fleiss, who produced The Bachelor, High School Reunion, The Real Gilligan’s Island, the upcoming The Cougar and Eli Roth’s Hostel, is creating a reality dating show for the average-sized person on Fox called More to Love!!!
FOX is setting out to prove that love comes in all shapes and sizes with the new inspirational dating competition series MORE TO LOVE. Executive-produced by Mike Fleiss (“The Bachelor,†“The Bacheloretteâ€Â), the unscripted series follows a single average guy with a big waist and an even bigger heart as he romances several confident and secure plus-size women. Each week, the husky hunk will wine and dine a group of curvy women to determine if they have more love to give or if they are truly more than he can handle. When the size of competition narrows, he will have to decide if one full-figured lady will become his true love.
“This is a dating show that sends the right message about embracing and loving yourself no matter your shape or size,†said executive producer Mike Fleiss. “When you are comfortable with your own body, you can really allow yourself to be open to the possibility of finding the right person to love.â€Â
The show is currently casting people’s whose hearts match the size of their waistline!!! Size 0s need not apply!
If this show is anything like Mike Fleiss’ other shows, I so can’t wait to see More to Love when it airs on Fox later this year! It will probably be the realest dating reality show of them all!!!
If you are interested in auditioning for the show, you can do so by…

A few months ago Fox announced they were going to try redo the huge British hit Absolutely Fabulous for The States. And before the casting was even announced fans of the show were like no. Then came word that Kathryn Hahn was cast as Edina and Kristen Johnston as Patsy and the fans were like no no. Now after seeing them all dressed up I say no no no.
I try not to cover pilot season because most of the shows don't get picked up and I hope this is one of them. Fox should look at NBC's Kath & Kim as an example that this shouldn't be done.
