The average person tells three lies in ten minutes of conversation.
DR. CAL LIGHTMAN (Tim Roth, “The Incredible Hulk,” “Reservoir Dogs”) can detect the truth by analyzing a person’s face, body, voice and speech. When someone shrugs his shoulder, rotates his hand or raises his lower lip, Lightman knows he’s lying. By analyzing facial expressions, he can read feelings – from hidden resentment to sexual attraction to jealousy. But as Lightman well knows, his scientific ability is both a blessing and a curse in his personal life, where family and friends deceive each other as readily as criminals and strangers do. Lightman is the world’s leading deception expert, a scientist who studies facial expressions and involuntary body language to discover not only if you are lying but why.
I cannot lie to you because Tim Roth would know, but I love Fox’s Lie to Me. Yes many of you might say it is a lot like CBS’s Mentalist but really it isn’t. I actually like the feel of it better and Tim Roth is more believable in the role. Lie to Me just has a vibe that makes this show move really fast that you are almost bummed when it ends.
Right now the show is paired with American Idol, but I would personally hope that Fox pairs it with Bones next season because this show will be back next season!
So tune into Life to Me tonight on Fox at 9p for a show I truthfully liked! If Tim Roth were here he would verify that for you!!!
After four seasons, Fox has decided to set Prison Break free after this season. The series final episodes will begin airing on Friday, April 17th. The news is really not that big of a surprise because both Fox and the producers of the show have been hinting this might be the final season a few months ago. I am curious to see how they are going to wind up ending it all…will they be free or will they kill them all off in one awesome battle we will be talking about for years!!! I am hoping for the latter!!!
For all you fans who have been waiting a year and a half for new day of 24, the wait is over tonight on Fox at 8p with a 2 day 4 hour premiere.
