Back in the ’80s, Dynasty and Knots Landing were two of the biggest shows on television, but yet never the two should meet. That was until 2018 when finally Alexis Carrington Colby and Abby Cunningham Ewing Sumner Fairgate were brought together by a common love. Donna Mills and Joan Collins both share a love for stylist Rene Horsch.
You know what seeing them together, makes you wonder why a network has not brought all the greats from Dynasty, Knots Landing and Dallas together for one epic Nighttime Soap. Could you imagine the ratings?
Donna Mills shared a photo with her Knots Landing co-stars, Michelle Lee and Joan Van Ark and said, “Your favorite trio is back together! Exciting things #comingsoon 🎥⚡️.” Does that mean that there are working on a Knots Landing reunion? Or could it be something else? Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
Things that make you go “wow” is that fact that those three ladies are all in the mid-’70’s (76, 75 and 74) and they look just as they did in ’80s when they were doing that primetime Soap Opera we all loved. Scratch that, they all look even better now than they did then. Don’t you agree?
Donna Mills has been acting for over 50 years, but you would never know it looking her. The 76-year-old shared a Selfie from the San Gennaro festival in NYC, and she looks like a teenage girl having fun at a carnival. In fact, the huge smile on her face makes her look even better now than she did when she was on Knotts Landing throughout the whole ’80s; and she was stunning beauty back then. Don’t you think she looks beyond fantastic not only for her age, but also in general?
Before people were afraid of Donna Mills’ smile on Knots Landing, she was afraid to smile until she started using Pepsodent. You can see why they cast the 26 year old as a beauty contestant in 1967 commercial because she was then, and is still now, absolutely gorgeous.
Joan Collins and Donna Mills attended a Mad Men themed party over the weekend and I think someone needs to give them a nighttime Soap ASAP. Could you imagine these two women doing a weekly drama together? It would be the best thing on television since Dynasty and Knots Landing were on the air. On that note, don’t these two actresses look better now than they did then? What is their secret to ageing as well as they have been?
