When Sofia Vergara and Dolly Parton’s breasts met!
September 18th, 2017 under Dolly Parton, Sofia Vergara. [ Comments: none ]

Yesterday’s biggest and best surprise at the Emmys was a 9 to 5 reunion with Dolly Parton, Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin. That means that Nashville’s most loved lady was there as was Columbia’s. When Sofia Vergara walked past the Jolene singer, the two women with the best boobs of the night met! And it looks like the singer was sizing up the competition. Here’s some straight talk for the Modern Family beauty, she is a close second with her two because no one compares to Miss Parton.

While Vergara comes in second in that contest, she came in first as in the attendee who had the most fun. Here she is calling it a night while having a Sixteen Candles moment. No one else has as much as fun as Mrs Joe Manganiello and that is why we love her!

Before Dolly Parton had more hits than you can count, she was singing her first one, Dumb Blonde, on The Bobby Lord Show. Even though she was just 21 at the time, she already that personality we know and love today back in 1967.

Today is Dolly Parton’s 71st birthday (Can you believe it?) and W Magazine found an interesting way to honor her. They asked Matthew McConnaughey, Chris Pine and Michael Shannon to audition for her legendary part of Doralee Rhodes in the classic movie 9 to 5 by reading the infamous “rooster to a hen” scene. How did they do? Watch their read and then hers and let me know. I know, who I would give the 9 to 5 to.

Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors is the newest Holiday classic!

Dolly Parton is one of the most loved people in America and her music is a tradition for all. Now thanks to NBC, her life story is becoming a Christmas tradition for decades to come.
Last year, her biopic, Coat of Many Colors, was a huge sucess for NBC. So huge they brought it back for a second movie this year. Tonight at 9p, we get to see the next chapter in her book. This one is called Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love and it is must watch for families.
It is Christmastime for the Partons and the kids all know what they want. Their parents want the money to pay for all of their presents. With nearly a dozen kids that is not an easy task for them. Not only that, Papa Parton (Ricky Schroder) wants to buy his wife (Jennifer Nettles) the wedding ring he never gave her. That ring costs $69 which doesn’t seem like a lot, but to them that it is very expensive. Expensive enough that if he buys it, none of the kids will get anything for Christmas. The offspring decide to forego their gifts for their mom, but that is still not enough money for it. Now they are coming up with ways to raise the rest of the dough.
Papa Parton comes up with a way and that means leaving his family to work in the mines.
His wife had a vision that her family will die lying in a circle, but her husband was not in the dream. She doesn’t want her husband to go because of it, but she lets him leave her there with a kids because it is the right thing to do for him. Then the unforeseeable happens and the rest is a Christmas miracle that will leave you in tears.
Dolly Parton’s telemovies are as timeless as her and her music, and I hope that NBC gives her a third movie of her life for all of us to enjoy again next year. It is the feel good movie that broadcast forgets to do, and let’s hope this reminds them we want them.

Rebecca Romijn’s daughter meets her namesake Dolly Parton!
November 23rd, 2016 under Dolly Parton, Jerry O'Connell/Rebecca Romijn. [ Comments: none ]

Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell named one of their twin daughters Dolly after Dolly Parton. Yesterday, the 7 year old finally met her namesake at the premiere of the Country singer’s movie Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love at Dollywood, and I am not sure who is more excited to meet who? I think it is a tie, although since Charlie is also getting a big hug from the legend, it might put the O’Connell’s in the lead. Plus, look at how happy their mom is in this photo. She might be the happiest one of them all. It is not everyday you get to introduce your kid to the person they are named after. Well, I am sure Charlie sees her Uncle Charlie all the time, but you get what I mean.
