Debbie Gibson joins Rick Springfield and Gloria Estefan as the latest star to rework one of their songs in honor of Coronavirus. She changed up the chorus of Shake Your Love to Wash Your Hands.
If she wanted me to wash my hands again, it worked. Because I cannot get the song out of my head no matter how times I wash my hands.
Back in 1987, 16-year-old Tiffany was touring the malls singing her #1 hit I Think We’re Alone Now. Now 31 years later, she gave that tune a more grown up, rocking sound. One that is so totally awesome, you will have it on repeat all day long. Then when your lover comes home, you will change their heartbeat! If you catch my drift because you won’t be alone anymore. You will put your arms around them and tumble to the ground.
Someone call the malls because she needs to tour them again. Would you go see her?
Back in the late ’80s, New Kids on the Block was the biggest Boy Band of the time. They were not the first one and they are certainly not the last. NKOTB are very aware of that fact, so their latest single is a history of the genre.
In the music video, the Boys in the Band show us how the dances and the styles change throughout the decades. Some were better than others, but there was one thing they all have in common. Unconditional fans.
Who will always be your favorite boy band? While you are thinking of an answer to that question, can you tell me what is up with Debbie Gibson’s voice?
It looks like Battle of the Network Stars used up all the stars because I barely know who most of the stars are that are competing on the 25th season of Dancing with the Stars. Good Morning America announced who is dancing and I have heard of Debbie Gibson, Barbara Cochran, Frankie Muniz and the Lacheys. Other than those names, I am glad that ABC highlighted why we are supposed to know them. Seriously, a YouTube star? Oy. What happened to all the contestants on The Bachelor? Weren’t any of them available?
What do you think of the “stars” listed below?
Shark Tank’s Barbara Corcoran with Keo Motsepe
’80s singer – Debbie Gibson with Alan Bersten
NBA’s Derek Fisher with Sharna Burgess
Property Brother’s Drew Scott with Emma Slater
Malcolm in the Middle’s Frankie Muniz with Witney Carson
Teen Beach’s Jordan Fisher with Lindsay Arnold
YouTube’s Lindsey Stirling with Mark Ballas
98 Degrees’ Nick Lachey with Peta Murgatroyd
Total Bellas’ Nikki Bella with Artem Chigvintsev
Pretty Little Liars’ Sasha Pieterse with Gleb Savchenko

It has been 30 years since Tiffany was a teenager singing her hit songs at the mall, and she looks just like she did when she saw him standing there. Which makes you wonder how it could’ve been 3 decades since I Saw Him Standing There came out.
Seriously, how can she be 45 and look like that? Maybe she needs to do the malls again because she hasn’t aged a day since then. That and she has some new music in the works.
