Kevin Spacey doing Al Pacino and Pacino doing spacey!
February 1st, 2013 under Al Pacino, David Letterman, Kevin Spacey. [ Comments: none ]

Al Pacino was a guest on The Late Show yesterday and David Letterman had to remind him where he was and what he was doing. The CBS late night host asked him about The Godfather and he got so completely distracted, that Letterman had to try his hardest to get his attention back on him.
Then after a break the host brought out Kevin Spacey to do his best Al Pacino impression with Scarface there. Watch the video to see if he Kevorkianed aka killed it! Which you don’t need a House of Cards to tell you how it is going to turn out.

Charlie Sheen talks about his winning days!
January 15th, 2013 under Charlie Sheen, David Letterman. [ Comments: none ]

Charlie Sheen was on The Late Show yesterday and David Letterman asked him about his melt down, or as Sheen calls it melt forward. The former-Two and a Half Men star says that basically his mind separated from him and he lost it. No drugs were involved although he wishes there were because then he could blame them instead of what happened.
The Anger Management star has an anger in check, but he did he get one diss in for 2.5. He said he would like to return for the show’s finale. Then Letterman said that his character was dead and Sheen responded by saying so is the show. Now even though he bashed the show, he had nothing but good things to say about his former co-stars. He said Jon Cryer is a genius and one of his favorite co-stars ever. He also took the high road when it came to Angus T Jones by saying he hasn’t spoken to him since his bad PR incident and doesn’t know what happened with him.
It really appears that Sheen has gotten his sh!t together and that is a good thing. Although in a way I kind of miss his Sheenigans. They were fun.

2012’s funniest sports’ fouls and strike outs!
January 5th, 2013 under Bloopers, David Letterman, Sports figures. [ Comments: none ]

Sports is a serious business, but sometimes it can be really funny. Marv Albert was on The Late Show yesterday and he shared with David Letterman some of the best sports’ bloopers from last year! Sadly almost every sport was included but golf, so I guess that game is so boring they can’t even mess it up. Oh well maybe this year!
BTW where was something from the Olympics, I am sure they had a few good screw ups.

Jimmy Kimmel blames David Letterman for losing his virginity so late!
December 28th, 2012 under David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel. [ Comments: none ]

David Letterman was honored by the Kennedy Center Honors and Jimmy Kimmel honored him. The ABC late night host said that when he was 15 he watched Letterman’s show for the first time and he was instantly in love. He was so in to Letterman that he had a cake with his image on it for his Sweet 16, a Late Night vanity plate for his first car, drew pictures of the gap toothed face on his school books and even started a HS club dedicated to the show. Then he said, “To me it wasn’t just a TV show, it was the reason I would fail to make love to a live woman for many many years.”
So now that Kimmel is doing what his idol Letterman was doing, I wonder how many women he has been doing because of that?

Did you know David Letterman is responsible for Everybody Loves Raymond?
December 27th, 2012 under David Letterman, Ray Romano. [ Comments: 1 ]

David Letterman was honored at the Kennedy Center Honors and Ray Romano was one of the 4 celebrities that introduced him. When Romano was talking about what the CBS late night host means to him, he told a story and revealed something I didn’t know about Letterman. Romano said he was hired to do a pilot and just a day into rehearsals he was fired from it. But he didn’t give up. Then one Saturday he got a phone call from the Letterman people, and he was nervous about what they wanted just days after he appeared on The Late Show. When he got on the phone it was the show’s producer who said that Letterman liked what he saw and he wanted to sign him to a development deal. That deal lead to a little show called Everybody Loves Raymond. One of of the best sitcoms to ever grace our televisions. Who knew that Letterman was a silent partner in bringing that show to life. Now we all do thanks to The Kennedy Center Honors honoring the most respected late night host on TV today.
