Seth Meyers did Late Night from 30 Rock yesterday with a live studio audience, and he looked fine. However, today is a different story.
“The bad news is, I tested positive for COVID (thanks, 2022!) the good news is, I feel fine (thanks vaccines and booster!),” he wrote. “We are canceling the rest of the shows this week, so tune in next Monday to see what cool location we will try and pass off as a studio!!!”
Hopefully, he will be better soon. Because he is the best late night host currently on television, and we can’t afford to lose him. Plus, he has three children at home, including an infant.
Jimmy Fallon finished taping his shows in December, and NBC had a little Christmas present for him. It was so special; they locked The Tonight Show host up in a room to give it to him. What was it?
“Hey guys, on the first day of our holiday break I tested positive for Covid. I was vaccinated and boostered which made me lucky enough to only have mild symptoms,” Fallon wrote. “Thank you to the doctors and nurses who work so hard around the clock to get everyone vaxxed. Thank you to NBC for taking the testing protocols so seriously and doing a great job – and also thanks for putting me in the ‘What ‘chu talkin’ about Willis?’ isolation room when they told me the news.”
That was then, today he was back hosting his show. So, in other words, he is doing better.

Rick Springfield, who is full of good notes, started the New Year off on a bad one. That is because he tested positive for a breakthrough case of COVID-19 hours before his show.
“Felt a little crappy today and turns out I tested positive for Covid,” he wrote.” For the safety of my band, crew, venue staff, and all of my amazing fans, I’m isolating, taking Tylenol and drinking lots of green tea. So bummed!”
Hopefully, the 72-year-old will be better soon because we need to protect him with all of our might.
Omarion released a public service announcement over the weekend. He wants you to know that he is not the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Therefore, if you run into him on the street, you do not have to quarantine for five days, nor do you have to get a negative test so that you can dance to his songs.
Omicron is so contagious that it seems like everyone is getting it. The latest person to test positive for COVID-19 is Debra Messing.

If you haven’t gotten vaccinated, now is the time to do it. My friend has COVID for the third time. Yesterday, it got so bad, so her doctor said to go to the emergency room. As she was getting ready to go, the doctor called back and said, don’t go because the ER is full. Imagine that. My friend is thankfully better today, but what if she wasn’t. We need to think of all of the people working at hospitals who are so exhausted from saving lives over the last two years, and yet there are people who are making their lives difficult for political reasons. Get over yourselves, you selfish a$$holes.
