At the end of April, Lindsey Buckingham ended his North American tour early because he tested positive for COVID-19.
Today, the 72-year-old singer announced “with great sadness” that he is postponing his European tour, which was slated to start next week. “Along with other members of his band and crew, Lindsey contracted Covid-19 at the end of his latest North American tour, forcing that to end prematurely. Unfortunately, he’s still recovering and has no choice but to move the upcoming tour to a later date,” the statement reads. “This is heartbreaking for Lindsey, he was so excited to come to Europe for the first time as a solo artist this spring. We’re currently working on rescheduling the dates and hope to have some news to share on that very soon.”
Hopefully, he will be better soon, and his fans can go insane when they see him perform live.
On April 21st, CBS announced that Stephen Colbert tested positive for COVID-19 and that he will take a break from taping The Late Show.
Today, the network said, “Stephen is experiencing symptoms consistent with a recurrence of COVID. Out of an abundance of caution for his staff, guests, and audience, he will be isolating for a few additional days. The Late Show will not be taping new episodes until further notice.”
Colbert released his own three-word statement, “WORST. SEQUEL. EVER.”
The talk show host went over two years without getting coronavirus, and now he has gotten it twice in a month.
Hopefully, he will be better soon and back doing his late night show.
