Before Andrew McCarthy was working for a department store in Mannequin, he was working for Pepsi for Burger King. He looks as cute now as he did when he was 21 in that 1983 commercial.

Andrew McCarthy was promoting his book A Moveable Feast and the way he look really lit my St Elmo’s Fire! I don’t know why but recently he hasn’t looked as good as he did when he was in the brat pack movies, but in these picture he definitely has my Pretty in Pink happy! Yes I don’t know what that means either, but what it does mean is that the 47 year is looking so good I want to spend more than a Weekend at Bernie’s with him!!!

Molly Ringwald took her family to the P.S. ARTS 14th Annual Express Yourself and how cute does her Breakfast Club look? The Sixteen Candles star and her husband Panio Gianopoulos have produced three Pretty kids in Pink and blue. Seriously how awwwdorable is the shy 7 year old Mathilda Ereni hiding between her parents legs and don’t you love the way her mom and dad are each holding one of her 16 month old twin siblings Adele and Roman in each arm?

Anthony Michael Hall aka Brian Johnson, Molly Ringwald aka Claire Standish, Ally Sheedy aka Allison Reynolds and Judd Nelson aka John Bender were reunited yesterday for a tribute to the man who made them household names. The 4 kids who were stuck in detention on a Saturday came out of the library to attend The Film Society Of Lincoln Center Remembers John Hughes and they all looked great. The look even better than they did when they made the timeless movie over 26 years ago. Can you believe the brain is 42, the princess is also 42, the basket case is 48 and the criminal is 50 because they sure as heck don’t look it. Too bad the athlete wasn’t able to join the brat pack honoring their leader.
It only took three and a half seasons, but Molly Ringwald finally made a 16 Candles reference on her ABC Family show Secret Life of the American Teenager. On this week’s episode everyone forgot Amy’s birthday and when Ringwald realizes they forgot her daughter’s birthday she said, “Everyone forgot my 16th birthday and it stayed with me my whole life!” And to make things even more like the movie that made her a household name, a wedding was involved.
When I heard them say they forgot Amy’s birthday, I was really hoping they would go the John Hughes way and I am glad they did! Now we just need a school dance with a pink dress and two guys fighting over Amy. Strangely enough with two teenage pregnancies on the show, not once have they made any references to For Keeps? Although I don’t Ringwald has any problems with that omission.
