Over the weekend, I watched the first two episodes of BH90210 and there was one thing that really stood out to me.

The opening credits for the new show are a lot like the original one. Even though I have not watched Beverly Hills, 90210 in years, I will never forget the way they moved during the theme song. Therefore, when I saw Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling doing it again, it brought me so much joy.

Back in the ’90s, the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 had their own trading cards. In honor of them all working together again, Fox released a new set of them before the show’s premiere on August 7th. Now you can trade Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering and Gabrielle Carteris for Shannen Doherty. Let’s be honest that is the only card we want.

On August 7th, Beverly Hills, 90210 is sort of back on Fox as BH90210. In honor of the premiere, you can celebrate the weekend earlier at the Peach Pit. You read that right! From August 1st until the 3rd if you are in LA, then you can go to the pop-up on Melrose to experience what the West Beverly gang experienced back in the day.

As you know, and are very excited for, the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 is reuniting for a Fox series starting on August. This time around the actors are playing alternate versions themselves trying to get their revival show on the air.

Now that you are caught up, Shannen Doherty posted the above photo with BH90210 co-stars, Gabrielle Carteris Jennie Garth and Tori Spelling and said, “Wait what???? Flashback photo or present day? Guess you’ll have to tune in to see….”

The photo is obviously from present day. Everyone will have their different tell that will prove that to you. For me, it was Garth whose hair is different and her age is showing. Who was your giveaway and why?

Even though it is obvious the photo is current. They all pretty much look the same as they did when the drama debuted almost 29 years ago. It truly is like they haven’t aged at all. Either that or a really good makeup department? What do you think?

Shannen Doherty posted a photo of herself eating dinner with Brian Austin Green in Vancouver where they are shooting BH90210. Along with the picture she said, “Might be one of my fave dinner companions. @arent_you_that_guy #bribri not a fake bone in him and I love that. He’s real and authentic all the time.”

I might be reading too much into it, but doesn’t it sound like she is saying her other BH90210 castmates are not that? I mean we all suspect that she does not get along with Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth. Thus, it would make sense that Jason Priestley and Ian Ziering, who were with this spinoff since the beginning, would side with the two girls over her. I would pick Shannen over them.

Anyways, if you think about it, it is all so high school. Which is exactly what Beverly Hills, 90210 is all about. Boy, I am glad I do not live near my old high schools and have to see my classmates. I don’t miss being all that BS. Most of which I stated, but still.
