Ashton Kutcher swims in the Shark Tank and survives!

Shark Tank is back for its 7th season tonight at 9p on ABC and they were lucky enough to get Ashton Kutcher to be the 5th judge.
Ashton and the other Sharks Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greiner and Robert Herjavec have some interesting items to look at tonight. Some of the entrepreneurs will go home with an investor or 2 and some will go home empty handed.
The first item they look at is a device you can put on your shoulder that grips a baby bottle, so you can have a free hand hand while you feed the baby. Something you think the new dad would be interested in, but is he? The next item is portable transportation you wear on your feet. Imagine slipping on a pair of wheels over your shoes that will transport you up to 10 mph. Sounds cool? Wait until you see the Sharks try them on. Luckily, they tried them out before they sampled the alcohol drink mixes which use apple cider vinegar as a natural preservative. Sounds gross, but will they like it? My favorite item of the night is a card you can put in your wallet that prevents hackers from stealing your identity. It wasn’t only my favorite, several of the Sharks liked it too and that leads to a bidding war. Which Shark(s) will that entrepreneur hook in and take home with him? You will just have to tune in for another thrilling episode to find out.
When it comes to the actor/mogul, he really handled himself better than any guest Shark in the past. While almost all of the other replacements for the night bowed down to Mr Wonderful, he didn’t take his crap. He was respectful, but also forceful. He was the same way to the entrepreneurs and he asked knowledgeable questions and gave them some helpful criticism. I hope they find a way to bring him back to show again and again. You will be surprised by how intelligent he is comes off tonight, he is so not Kelso in real life.
When it comes to the rest of the season, I can’t wait to see what other products the Sharks invest their money in. I know, I will be watching every week on the edge of my seat with my Scrub Daddy to see what items I will be looking to buy in the stores the next day.

Ashton Kutcher is going to be a guest Shark on Shark Tank!
July 20th, 2015 under ABC, Airbnb, Ashton Kutcher, Shark Tank. [ Comments: none ]

Ashton Kutcher didn’t only play a tech mogul on Two and a Half Men, he is one in real life. So when one of the Sharks needed some time off from Shark Tank, the producers thought he would be the perfect Shark to swim in their water. That’s right, he going to sit on the panel and offer up his own money if he likes what he hears from the entrepreneurs.
In case you don’t know how successful he is outside of acting, here are some of the companies he as invested in in the past. Ron Burkle, Guy Oseary and him created the venture fund A-Grade investments in 2011 and invested in Airbnb, Spotify, Uber, Flipboard, SoundCloud, Foursquare, Shazam and Houzz. Then last year Oseary and him founded Sound Ventures and helped to fund Pager, Handy, Meerkat, Zenefits, Classpass and more. I don’t know about you, but I think that proves he is more than qualified for the job,
In fact, I hope that Mark Burnett is auditioning Kutcher for another show he does called The Celebrity Apprentice. How amazing would he be to replace The Donald? I’d tune in every week. Plus, imagine the celebrities that would jump at the chance to be in his boardroom?
Back to Shark Tank, Ashton is not the only guest Shark who is going to appear on the show this season. Chris Sacca, Former Google Exec, Venture Capitalist and Tech Veteran, and Troy Carter, Entertainment Mogul, Branding Expert and Investor, are also slated to appear on the show.

Demi Moore and her mini-me Rumer Willis
May 25th, 2015 under Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore. [ Comments: 6 ]

Rumer Willis shared a photo of herself with her mom looking more like twins than mother and daughter. Can you believe her mom is twice her age? I want to look that good when I am 52.

Ashton Kutcher has a enormous prosthetic penis in his trailer!
February 18th, 2015 under Ashton Kutcher, Chuck Lorre. [ Comments: 2 ]

Tomorrow night at 9p on CBS, it is sadly the season finale for Two and Half Men. A few weeks ago, I was at a Warner Bros event honoring Chuck Lorre and the casts of his sitcoms talked about their shows. Someone wanted to know what Conchata Ferrell thought it was like to work with Ashton Kutcher.
Ferrell, who has played the housekeeper on the show since the first season, described the first time he appeared on it. Alan (Jon Cryer) was holding his dead brother’s ashes in a jar, when he accidentally flung them in the air. Through the cloud of Charlie Harper’s ashes, Walden Schmidt (Kutcher) suddenly appears and she said it was breathtaking.
That was the first we all saw him, but that was not when her character met her new boss. She shared that story, “first time I met Walden, he was totally naked, and I was charmed. It was easy to be charmed.”
That lead in to Cryer being asked about what is his weirdest memory of working with his husband on the show. For him, it was, “The moment I actually knew Ashton was totally going to fit in on the show was in the pilot.” Then he explained, “We were faced with an odd problem where he (Kutcher) had to be naked, and the audience had to see him, but we didn’t want to put the little flesh colored undies on him, because then the joke wouldn’t work, because the whole point was he had to be naked.” Then he added, “So we didn’t know how to do that in front of a live audience. And we were all sort of going back, and the writers and everybody, and there was, like, this just incredible agonizing over what are we going to do in front of the audience, what are we going to do, and then Ashton piped in, ‘Oh, I happen to have an enormous prosthetic penis in my trailer.’” Once the newest man on the show said that, Cryer knew he was going to fit in.
I bet you are wondering, why did he have a huge prosthetic penis in his trailer? It was a prop from his MTV show Punk’d. Kutcher then chimed in and said Cryer didn’t have to tell us why because “That’s mysterious. Leave it that way, Jon.” Even though it was supposed to be mysterious, Kutcher wound up sharing that, “It wasn’t my penis, it was somebody else’s penis.” Cryer then summed it all up with, “That was a weird moment.” While Kutcher ended the discussion, with these choice words, “Yeah. Top that, folks.Top that.” Nobody could and nobody ever will be.
When it comes to will the show go out on top, Chuck Lorre said, “I think we’re going to have a finale that you’ll be very, very pleased with. And that’s all I’m going to say about it.” We will just have to tune in tomorrow at 9p to find out. Knowing how hysterical the show has been through its run, I am sure we are not going to have another Seinfeld on our hands.
