Simon Cowell visited his old friend Kelly Clarkson on her show today, and he brought some new friends with him. The King of Mean was there to promote tonight’s return of America’s Got Talent on NBC with his co-judges Sofia Vergara and Heidi Klum and host Terry Crews.
While he was talking to American Idol, Cowell revealed that he thinks that the Modern Family has cursed him and the other judges so that she can do it all by herself. Why does he believe that? It is because since she started on the show two years ago, Klum missed a few shows when she got sick, Cowell broke his back and then his arm, and Mandel passed out one time, all while Vergara has remained healthy.
Therefore, Cowell might be onto something. Something that Vergara denies. So, do you believe that actress is cursed?
T.3 is an acapella group who made it to the quarterfinals of America’s Got Talent this season. For that round, they decided to sing Olivia Rodrigo’s Good 4 U, a choice that the judges and the fans didn’t think was a good one. Therefore, they were eliminated.
Yesterday, they posted a video of themselves harmonizing Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now. I think that if they performed this song instead, they would still be on the competition show.

I have been following them on TikYok since before we saw them on the NBC program, and I suggest you do the same. They are one of the best acapella bands out there, and I love this genre.
I am sure they will do well even though they didn’t make it to the semifinals.
You might not know Michael Winslow’s name, but you know the sounds he makes with his mouth from the Police Academy franchise. It has been a while since we have gotten a sequel, so he decided to audition for America’s Got Talent. The comedian made such an impression the judges put him through to the next round, and yesterday he performed on the live show in the quarter finals.
Winslow did a bit about Simon Cowell’s dogs and imitated what the pooches sound like. Well, when Xavi heard the impression, the French Bulldog thought it was the real thing. Therefore, he started barking at the television screen. It was his way of telling his furrent to vote Winslow through to the next round.
Did enough dogs vote him through? We will find out tonight on NBC.

Nightbirde wowed audiences all over the world when she sang an original tune for her America’s Got Talent audition. She inspired people when she told the judges that she has cancer that spread into her lungs, spine, and liver with a 2% chance of survival, but she was not going to let it stop her. Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel were amazed by her that Cowell even hit the Golden Buzzer, and that automatically put her through to the live shows.
Unfortunately, she hit a bump in the road. Last week, she announced that she was going to have to pull out of the competition because she had a setback in her cancer battle.
Yesterday, the singer appeared on the show remotely, and the King of Mean had a message for her. “You made the decision, rightly so, that your health is your priority right now, and I know the last time we spoke, you actually said that you feel like you let people down,” Cowell said. “On behalf of all of us, you haven’t let anyone down. Even though you haven’t competed, you’ve already won. As Terry [Crews] said, your clip has had such an impact on so many people. And your courage. Who you are. The most important thing is your well being and your health, and your recovery. On behalf of all of us here. We are sending you all of our love, our prayers, and we can’t wait to see you again soon. And thank you so much for auditioning on the show. And for singing such a beautiful song. And you know it was…” After that, he was so overcome with emotion; he could not go on.
Even though Nightbirde only gave us one performance, she really made an impact on people all over the World. I have a friend in Israel, who is going through a really awful time himself, and he sent me her audition. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know about her and the power of this show, I don’t know what will.

He has heard so many singers, so why did she touch him more than anyone else? She told the judges before she performed that she has cancer in her lung, spine, and liver with a 2% chance of survival. Knowing that, you would think she might be giving up. Far from that. She came out like a powerhouse, full of positivity as she sang an original song about her cancer battle.
But Nightbirde’s backstory was not enough to get her through to the next round. Her singing was so exceptional that Cowell hit the golden buzzer for her. Guaranteeing that she would move on to the live shows.
However, there is only one thing that would stop her, and today she gave us the bad news.
Sharing my heart with the world on AGT has been an honor and a dream come true. My point of view this summer has been astounding. What a miracle that the pain I’ve walked through can be reworked into beauty that makes people all over the world open their eyes wider.
Since my audition, my health has taken a turn for the worse and the fight with cancer is demanding all of my energy and attention. I am so sad to announce that I won’t be able to continue forward on this season of AGT. Life doesn’t always give breaks to those that deserve it—but we knew that already.
Thank you for all your support, it means the world to me. Stay with me, I’ll be better soon. I’m planning my future, not my legacy. Pretty beat up, but I’ve still got dreams.
Here is to hoping that she kicks cancer’s ass like she nailed that audition and will be back next season cancer free and ready to win it all. She already won our hearts.
